Loki disappears in a puff of smoke. While invisible, he moves faster, removes Slow effects, and gains immunity to Slow effects. His next Basic Attack from stealth (or for 2s after) applies a bleed to his target, dealing damage every .5s and reveals Loki. If Loki takes damage while in stealth he will be revealed for .33s.

Agonizing Visions

Loki summons a vision of his tortured past at a target location for 4s. Enemies in range of the vision feel the poison themselves, taking damage and having their Damage Dealt reduced. This effect stacks up to 4 times. If an enemy gets 4 stacks they become Blinded, allowing Loki to benefit from Behind You! from any direction for 3s.

Flurry Strike

Loki unleashes a flurry of 5 dagger strikes quickly in front of him, damaging and slowing enemies hit by 15% for 3 seconds. After this flurry he winds up for a final heavy strike that deals higher damage and slowing enemies hit by 30% for 3s. Loki cannot be knocked up while firing this ability. This ability can benefit from Behind You!

Upon activation, Loki teleports to his ground target location. If an enemy god is within the radius, Loki will slice that target doing damage and crippling them for 1s. After he teleports he will wind up a heavier strike, damaging all enemies in front of him and stunning them.

How to play Loki!

You should use VANISH when attacking and then AIMED STRIKE. You should only use ASSASSINATE if someone is fleeing and you can't reach them or for escape. Also if you're caught in a team fight and everyone is targeting you then you could use assassinate to flee.

I have edited the build so it doesn't involve crit or attack speed. Please don't judge cause as I said in the comments that I am just starting out after a long period of not playing. I appreciate any recommendations for this build and I am going to be trying different builds and items to see which one is best for Loki.

It's my comment on another's Loki build, and more specifically talks about crits, damage progression, S6 changes to Loki, etc. These will give you specific reasons why crit items are just not that good for him.

I'll throw in the specific comment that applies to crit, and edit for context.

Crit in general is not a good idea for , but it was a bit more functional in past seasons than now. In S6, his first attack progression got a nerf to the damage. It's now 0.75x instead of 1x. Crit calculations are based on this damage progression. Crits are powerful with progressions of 1 or above. Below 1, they start seeing less return. FYI, the entire progression is as follows: 0.75 / 0.5 / 0.5 / 0.5 / 1.5x. All those values less than 1 mean you're getting less out of your crits than anyone with no progression (e.g. hunters) or higher progression earlier in their kits.

If you understand this, you will never suggest crits for Loki. Power, pen, and CDR is his game.

You may absolutely be having success with him, and we're not taking that away from you. Especially as you're just starting out again, your matchmaking level is probably low, and you can probably get away with more than you would otherwise. It's just, when you understand the mechanics and calculations underneath SMITE's surface, some things become very apparent.

is an ability-based god, not an AA-based one. With that in mind, he must build power and penetration items, not items that boost attack speed or crit damage. Please, NEVER build crit on , it’s a meme at this point.

In teamfight modes it's still fine. All they did was increase stacks. Instead of getting max stacks in like 1 minute, it takes 2. LOL.

It's still built a lot in duel. I'd also only suggest it in Joust or Clash, and maybe Siege. In Assault you need some type of sustain early and AB just doesn't provide that.

I'd probably skip the blessing for arena and swap crusher and wrath around so you get more use out of the former. AB takes longer to stack now (100 stacks), so you might not be able to finish TB before the match ends.

Thanks. It's just that I'm pretty new to this and I have not played Smite since I think 2013. Although i have gotten a lot of kills with my build but imma try your build.

You might be getting a lot of kills because:

1. is busted;
2. People don’t know how to play against him;
3. You might be playing against unexperienced players;
4. Arena is a universe on it’s own, where meta doesn’t exist.

Where's nothing exist and I can make a full damage and get 23 kills/2 deaths :V

It's just full "putaria" and teamfights

You don't even know how to play Loki of course you're not going to do well with that build. Do you even know what auto-attack cancelling is? What Loki's basic attack progression is?

I get about 15 kills and 1-2 deaths on each match I play Loki with my build. So don't talk sh*it. This is my guide and I can write whatever the f**k I want.

This is my first build in a long time as the old ones I was too young to understand how to do a good guide. I am still a beginner at this, so please don't judge me.
