Hey guys, and welcome to my first Smitefire Guide. no clue if this will go well but why not right? Medusa was my first ever ADC and my second god purchased (before getting the god pack) so it feels only right to make a guide for her. In the following I will tell you how aggressive/passive to play during early/mid/late game and the type of role you want to adopt vs different opponents. A quick note of the stats, the attack damage is only about 30 from max and attack speed is similarly high.
As you can see, I went and gave Medusa Mages, and despite how good Hunters is right now, for the most part early you wont be able to sit near wave. Many of the top ADCs are heavy lane pushers so lanes tend to be cleared quickly, as such, you want to focus on throwing your 2 out as early as possible, and getting it back to hit a wave twice with it. For the most part your aren't gonna want to fight before level 5, and I recommend grabbing a Chalice of the Oracles within the first 5 levels, as you will be an easy target early game. Take your time, rush trans, and focus on getting to a point where your nearly able to insta-clear wave. Until that point stay near tower and try to fight as little as possible.
This is where your gonna start to shine. This guide is gonna assume you kept pace with your enemy ADC, at least within 1 level of them. At this point your best bet is to ambush people with your ult. While in higher elo's this tactic is less effective as people are listening heavily for the ult noise and wards are placed everywhere, getting even 1 kill is worth the ult so try to lure your enemy ADC nearby, preferably with your Support and have then distracted. This tactic is classic medusa but its surprising how many don't know it, so its better to play it safe. generally this build is all about the late game, so mid and early even are more about trying to buff out your farm so that you can destroy late game
This is where you can really shine. With Atlanta's bow, you can stick to targets much better with its passive and your passive, and despite not having pen, quins and the general attack speed and strength of the build lend it a lot of strength against bruisers as well. While you may not shine like some Gods with this build, the late game swing that comes after quins can make your opponents wish they stayed stones.
Clearly the big problem with this build and Medusa in general right now is the early game, and how easy it is if your not careful to end up dead 5 times before you even get your first tier 1. Despite this, the un-predictability that comes with picking medusa, a currently very off meta god and the power/attack-speed of this build lends some serious hurt to enemies who don't expect it. With this build, I'd say if you can get past 10 minutes positive or at least even, then your on track to win the game.
Some changes that might work well but have yet to be tested
Exchanging Atlantic for Titans -
While this seems like it may work, the attack speed I've found to be helpful with towers and phoenixes, and unfortunately the fact is I rarely get games that let me reach full build, so testing this has been difficult
Exchanging Quins for Exe -
This one is self explanatory, but if the team has more defense and you need some shred, instead of the quins passive, you can swap quins for exe, the attack speed will remain similar enough, I just but Quins here because I find it more helpful in more situations
Generally, anyone with Decent wave clear early game, like Iza and Ullr are easily gonna be difficult for you, but even those with only decent clear are gonna be hard early, like hachi and xbal. Despite this like I said you'll be waiting till late game to come out the gate swinging. Also be wary of gods like Ne-zha for her ult and lock-down and Ganesha,Ares, and other support who can really keep you in one spot for long. As medusa you want to use your innate passive speed and Atlantic bow passive (if your using it) to juke past enemy attacks and stay just close enough where you can hit them but you can still dodge them.
Hey guys, and thank you for going through that wall of text. Hope you all do well in the future and please, if there is anything you want to talk about, whether its questions about the build, or if you would like to tell me helpful things about Smitefire, then by all means leave a comment below. Ill respond to every one of them, even if they are salty, because then everyone else can just laugh ;P. Good luck Gods, and I can't wait to see you on the battlefield

I would replace your Atlanta bow with executioner. I'd leave your last item as situational slot.
Not too sure about j. Wrath as your last item. Not too sure about the A. Bow either.
Exe usually slots in best in the mid to late game. Your first 3 items are good as is. I'd probably avoid Bloodforge, at least in the 4th slot, partly due to price. Exe usually would go there. The added attack speed from Exe, along with those from Ninja and Crusher, will set you up nicely to get as much as possible out of Qin's passive damage bonus.
If you want / need lifesteal, you can rush Asi 3rd or 4th and push the other items back, or if you can do okay without it until late-game, think about BF in the last slot.
