A Quick Introduction to Who I Am.

Hello I am IpXarie or IpZenyPro. I'm a 18 year old male gamer. I'm currently a drop out but I will be returning this September to finish my high school courses. I play a verity of different games like Smite, Maplestory, Fallout, Elder Scrolls Online, Dark Souls, etc. If you would like to check out my youtube then click on the link below!

An Introduction to Mercury: Messenger Of The Gods.

Hello everyone, and welcome to my guide for Mercury. (Currently WIP)

Mercury : Mercury is a melee physical assassin. His weapons of choice are his fists.. yup he uses his fists combined with his ridiculously fast amount of speed to take down his opponents on the battlefield. Mercury is an excellent Jungler just like other gods such as Kali or Thor but usually has problems when he falls behind. My guide when I eventually finish it will show you the basics of how to build, and play Mercury in every game mode, and in various ways such as conquest playing either jungle or maybe even adc again. Hopefully this guide will provide you with the know how of how to build, and play Mercury

Pros, and Cons of Mercury.

Pros of Mercury

High damage potential
Made You Look has a great minion clear potential
Two initiations, and potential finishers
Sonic Boom ranges up to 500 ft
Very versatile (able to adapt)
High potential speed makes him great in 1v1 fights
which can help if you rather solo lane, then jungle.

Cons of Mercury

Very Squishy
Made You Look can be difficult to land early game
Sonic Boom can kill you without caution since it ranges up to 500 ft
Special Delivery can throw your team off

Items, Starters, Actives, and Why? (WORK IN PROGRESS)

Main Items for Mercury

Picking up Golden Bow will give Mercury +35% physical power, 10% critical strike chance, and 5% movement speed while also giving Mercury a 15 ft radius of 50% of Golden Bow's damage on his AA's. Golden Bow on Mercury will help him clear minion waves, and jungle buffs very fast which will help him out in the jungle, and in any lane he decides to gank while also poking at enemy gods that are within the 15 ft radius.
____________________________________________________________________________________________

Warrior Tabi is a good choice for Mercury since it gives him 30% Physical power, 9% attack speed, 18% movement speed, and +15 Physical pen, and as we all know in Smite boots are essential to almost any build you will see unless you are one of those kinds of player that for some reason don't build them.
____________________________________________________________________________________________

Mercury is an assassin like probably some of your favorite gods such as Loki. Like Loki a Deathbringer is amazing on Mercury for the critical hit damage it provides their AA's, and for Mercury his Made You Look acts just like an AA which means the critical hit damage will apply to this skill which will do a ton of damage, and will act as a nice poke at enemy gods or as a way to finish someone off if you don't wan't to get up close, and personal.
____________________________________________________________________________________________

RAGE!!! You pretty much will see this item on almost ALL physical gods like these 2 ranged physicals Neith, and Artemis or these 2 melee physical assassins Loki, and Arachne. Rage is good on gods such as Loki, and for this guide Mercury, because it gives its user 20% physical power, +30% critical strike chance, 15% attack speed. For Rage if you don't get a critical strike on the enemy gods you are attacking, the damage will build up 10% every time your AA's don't crit. This passive can build up to 5 stacks before it probably insta kills your target unless you kill them during the time it takes for you to build up the 5 stacks lol.
____________________________________________________________________________________________

If you insist like I do on building some lifesteal then Bloodforge is the perfect item to build on Mercury late game. Bloodforge is amazing on Mercury, because it will give you him extra +40 physical power, +20% physical lifesteal, and for its passive it will give Mercury +5 physical power, +2 physical lifesteal every time you land a successful AA on an enemy god or minion which is very useful since most of Mercury's damage out put is in his AA's.
____________________________________________________________________________________________

Titan's Bane is an item that provides the user with +30% physical power, and as a passive Titan's Bane will give you 33% physical penetration on all of your physcial attacks. For Mercury Titan's Bane is a must have late game for those tanky gods like Ymir for an example. With Titan's Bane Mercury also gains the opportunity to start boxing with gods such as Hercules or Vamana which would normally build something like a Witchblade or a Runeforged Hammer and become almost unkillable for most physical gods.
____________________________________________________________________________________________

Starter Items, and Actives

Bumba's Mask. This item is strongly recommended for any jungling god such as Bakasura. Bumba's Mask essentially gives 30 hp, allows the player to get a full gold bonus from jungle camps, and get a 10% heal off of the camps as well. Below I will have a picture, and a description of the conquest jungle layout.

No gameplay, just items and pros and cons. I know this is a WIP, but WHY THE HELL DID YOU PUBLISH IT? You know you can archive it to remove it from the public, right? I'll downvote out of principle, but if you improve I'll change my vote.

Meditation is for lower lvl players (I get how it can look like I'm being a **** about it, that is not my intention). Read this in a happy kind of tone :)

The faster you can manage to stop using Meditation the better!

There is basically not a single god that it would be accepted on in higher lvl play (ranked etc). Except maybe Aphrodite due to Loving Embrace.

Some would say "oh but Bacchus is so mana hungry that he needs it to be able to stay drunk early game". Yes he does, but why would you need to stay drunk early game?!? would be my answer to that. Belly Flop is all the cc you need.

Learn to manage your mana, if you want to get good at the game. (I use Meditation on Ao Kuang, but that is just because I'm a scrub when it comes to playing mid).

Keep up the work and I wish your brother good luck and hopefully a healthy recovery :)

I know I only have meditation in my builds for mostly if you get said or mostly any god in assault.

I personally don't like meditation. I just find that other actives are much better late game. You already get the 15 mp5 from Bumba's while in the jungle. If I'm mana starved, I'll just buy some mana pots to save the active slot. Also, I really like sprint on Mercury because of his passive. You can just run circles around your enemies while punching them.

kk well sorry but I right now don't have the time to update if you take a look at Mercury's main page I wrote something to inform people.
