Hello, this guide is here to show you what i call the Motorboat build. If your wondering the point of this build it's aboat (sorry for the pun!) Speed that is right SPEEEEEEEEED like the zoom zoom kind. But more to the point it is to be a support to get in really fast help out maybe given the chance get a kill (but being contradictory to the title) and get out FAST! I hope this guide you play Poseidon with a fresh new perspective.

GOD: Poseidon (Duh)
Role: Mage
Pantheon: Greek
Base stats: Health- 380 Hp5-6 Magical Protection-30
Mana- 245 Mp5-4.6 Physical Protection-8
Movement- 360 Attack speed-0.87
Abilities:
Changing Tides
Poseidon's Movement speed increases and his abilities do additional damage as his Tide Level increases. Successful basic attack hits increase his Tide, and using abilities decreases it.
Ability: Buff Affects: Self High Tide Damage: Abilities deal up to 20% additional damage at max Tide Level High Tide Speed: Movement speed increases up to 20% at max Tide Level Basic Attacks: +8% Tide Level on Hit
Tidal Surge
Poseidon summons forth a wave that travels in a line, dealing damage and pushing back all enemies in its path.
Ability: Line Affects: Enemy Damage: Magical Damage: 100/140/180/220/260 (+70% of your magical power) Tidal Meter: -35% Tide Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 Cooldown: 10s
Trident
Poseidon activates his Trident, granting Move speed and making his basic attacks fire 2 additional shots in a spread for 6s. The shots deal magical damage plus 20% of Poseidon's Magical Power. All shots increase Poseidon's Tide on successful hit.
Ability: Buff Affects: Self Base Damage per Hit: 30/40/50/60/70 Movement Speed: 15/20/25/30/35% Lifetime: 6s Tidal Meter: -15% Tide Cost: 65/70/75/80/85 Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12s
Whirlpool
Poseidon summons a whirlpool at his ground target location that cripples targets, preventing movement abilities, and pulls targets toward the center dealing magical damage every .5s for 3s. Reduces Poseidon's Tide by 25% when cast.
Ability: Ground Target Affects: Enemy Damage: Magical Radius: 20 Damage: 15/25/35/45/55 (+15% of your magical power) Tidal Meter: -25% Tide Cost: 80/90/100/110/120 Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11s
Release the Kraken!
Poseidon releases the Kraken, damaging and slowing targets in its radius. Enemies in the center of the effect when it spawns take additional damage and are stunned and bounced into the air.
Ability: Ground Target Affects: Enemy Damage: Magical Radius: 30 Damage: 170/195/220/245/270 (30% of your magical power) Damage (Center): 180/220/260/300/340 (60% of your magical power) Slow: 30% Stun (Center): 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2s Tidal Meter: -50% Tide Cost: 100/110/120/130/140 Cooldown: 90s

1.Mark of the Vanguard
- this is your primary protection until late game
- 5 Physical Protection
- 5 Magical Protection
- 100 Health
- 5 overall protection
2. Boots of Celerity
- This item is responsible for most of the speed you'll get out of this build. And with cool down to boot
- 28% Speed while in combat / +40% Speed while out of combat
- 15% Cool down reduction
Core(2)
3.Fatalis
- This provides attack speed to help secure those kills, the ability to provide "covering fire" and more SPEEEEEEEEEEEEED!
- 30% attack speed
- 10% movement speed
- Each basic attack hit increases your movement and attack speed by 3% for 3 seconds (max. 4 stacks). Also, you no longer move slower when moving backwards.
4.Gem of Isolation
- this gives you the slowing power with your whirl pool which can help secure kills, stall enemies enough so you and/or your team to escape and provides some more umphh to make sure you don't get behind on damage.
- 70 Magical damage
- 250 Health
- 250 Mana
- Enemies hit by your damaging abilities will move 25% slower for 2 seconds.
Magical Protection(3)
5.Hide of the Leviathan-this adds both magical and physical and magical protection. and also reduces the cc from enemies making it more likely to survive.
- 45 Physical Protection
- 45 Magical Protection
- 250 Health
- 250 Mana
- 30% reduction to all crowd control durations.
6.Focused Void Stone
- This helps with your possible lack of magical power and adds the needed protection.
- 50 Magical power
- 50 Magical Protection
- 25 Magical penetration
Physical protection(3.5)
5.Hide of the Leviathan (see above)
6.Wall of Absolution-this essentially just substitutes the magical protection from Focused Void Stone with Physical protection but with a bit less power
- 60 Physical Protection
- 30 Magical power
- 15 MP5
- When hit by a basic attack, your physical protection increases by 15 for 5 seconds (max 3 stacks).
At this point You should sell the Mark of the Vanguard

7. Bancroft's Talon
- Adds the Last bit of Power you should need for the support role and add some lifesteal for more sustain.
- 100 Magical power
- 12% Magical lifesteal
- You gain 1 additional magical power per 1% of your missing health.

Winged WandWinged Wand- allows for more "Escapibility" and you know what else....... do yah ill give a hint SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!

- Doesn't Require heavy farm
CONS- Low protections early to mid game
- little damage mid game

As for the constructive criticism that you asked for:
There's a spelling mistake on the title of the very first chapter. It should read "Introduction." While I'm not normally much of a spelling or grammar Nazi, I think a spelling mistake that early on is something you would want to fix.
Also, I like that you have a bit of color in the guide, but icons and separations would make it look much more polished.
For example, can be inserted using the code [ icon= Changing Tides size = 35] by removing all the spaces in between the equal signs. Likewise, you can insert the spells and items such as Fatalis by removing the spaces from the code [ [fatalis] ].
Separating out smaller sections such as inbetween each skill can be done by pressing the enter key, typing - - - - - (without the spaces) and pressing then pressing the enter key again.
The guide isn't too long so it shouldn't be too much work to do, and it will make the guide look much more refined.
Other than that, it looks like you had some fun creating the guide and the build itself is also very fun to use when you're in the mood.
