Still Target - (Artemis's Passive) Artemis gains a critical strike chance buff on each successful hit. Notes:
At max stacks, Artemis gains +15% Critical chance.
Critical Chance per hit: 5% Duration: 4s Max Stacks: 3
Transgressors Fate - Artemis places a trap on the ground. Enemy gods coming within 5 units of her traps activate them, rooting and crippling the enemy god, preventing movement abilities and dealing damage every second for 3s.Damage per Tick: 25/40/55/70/85 (+30% of your physical power) Root: 2s Max Traps: 3 Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10 seconds
Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana... Placing more that 3 traps will cause the oldest one to be destroyed.
This ability deals the last tick of damage after it's animation and root/cripple is over.
Vengeful Assault - Artemis attacks at a furious pace, increasing her attack and movement speed significantly. Attack Speed: 35/45/55/65/75% Movement Speed: 20%

Damage: 150/225/300/375/450 (+100% of your physical power)
Stun: 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5s Boar Lifetime: 6s Cooldown: 90 seconds
Cost: 80/90/100/110/120 mana
PROS
High Area Damage
High Single Target Damage
Good Lane Pusher
CONS
Squishy
Hard to escape
Vulnerable When Stunned
auto-attacking - You have a passive that is extremely strong if you just keep on auto-attacking
Use the boar + trap combo - What this means is, once you use your ultimate Calydonian Boar, you can close in and lay down a trap under the enemy, preventing them from getting away. This is a very crucial Artemis trick that will help you alot. Also don't forget, you can use your traps as Wards, so keep those traps up!

You've played 165 total games, you are level 21, and have 5 masteries. I'm sorry, but you aren't at all qualified to make a guide.
The build, first off, is just terrible. Crit rush? No lifesteal? No stacking item? No attack speed? No damage? And what the hell is that yellow thing in the 5th item slow? It looks kinda like a bow... Oh yeah, that's Golden Bow, an item that has no place in any hunter build under any circumstances (ESPECIALLY NOT AS A FIFTH ITEM).
This "guide" doesn't actually explain any item or ability, it just lists them. In fact, this isn't a guide. It's just a list of recommended items from someone who has no idea what they're doing.
I'm sorry to be so harsh, but this feels like an insult to people who spend their time writing out what they've learned over their years playing the game, actually trying to share some of their mastery with others. This just looks like a joke.
AmorphousGamer, I understand that this build isn't particularly viable and that there aren't a ton of actual helpful gameplay tips, but the comments aren't for criticizing someone just for having written a guide, they're for CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Clearly this wasn't written by someone who thinks that they've mastered Artemis if they're still level 21 in game. This guide was probably written to get some ideas recorded and get feedback on what they could do better. Bojanx2x did a good job of giving feedback like this in his first post. Telling the writer that s/he "has no idea what they're doing" and "aren't at all qualified to make a guide" isn't helpful, all it does is make smitefire a hostile place.
@Latula-Senpai, Despite its problems (see Bojanx2x first post, I agree with his statements), I'm glad to have at least seen some work put into this guide. There are far too many guides written that only contain a build and no actual descriptions at all. This guide at least has some info written down and decent bbcoding for a new writer. I encourage you to take Bojanx2x advice, with it you could make this a really good guide and become a better Artemis player as well.
(also as a side comment, one of my guide names is a homestuck reference R3DGL4R3 >:] )

i dont want to be mean here but this guide is fairly lack luster and quite outright horrible in terms of skill ranking not getting your ultimate at lvl 5 in a Conquest means you have a great disadvantage from the lack of CC and burst at lvl 5 not to mention you dont put even one point into TRANSGRESSORS FATE until much latter on which is just ignorant of the important of this spell it can cut off a lane entry point or be used to follow up tusky or other forms of CC as well as help your escape in addition to that you need:
1. a Skill & Mechanics Section were you explain the use of her passive and other spells and how they work... and at least a reason for your point skips even if it were arena the skill ranks you use are a catastrophe on mid - high lvl play you dont even say what her spells do or explain there proper uses
2. a Reasoning for the items that your building your build is overall something a new player with scramble down it lacks some basic attack speed and it lacks many other things such as proper actives Meditation is a horrible pick up on most gods even more so if you get a combat blink this means your 100% weak to CC so if your stunned even once and it gets followed up your dead any kind of strong slow and your pretty much dead A Hunter Usually always goes for sprint and Greater Purification in order to maximize there chances at survival and there ability to carry a game and these 2 actives are the ones that do the most meditation might look great early but it falls of late game a lot.... Combat Blink on the other hand is a good pick up in case the enemy team has things like a Odin + any AoE Burst damage you simply need this active over others in this case as far as the actual items your using a standard hunter build is usually:
- Devourer's Gauntlet Warrior Tabi The Executioner ichival Rage Deathbringer and then you would sell ichival for Malice this build gives the highest possible single Target Damage Out Put for Artemis you can replace the rage with some other item if you need to such as Titan's Bane in case of a heavy protection line up or objective melting
3.batter pros and cons example:
Pros: Passive Critical Strike Chance, good poke , AS(attack speed) steroid on demand with a movement speed buff, good team fight potential with Calydonian Boar and can seal of some lane entry points from the jungle with Transgressors Fate
Cons: weak wave clear , squishy, lacks a escape spell and is thus weak to slows and other forms of CC , her Calydonian Boar can be killed with a spell that's powerful enough before it does anything or can be stunned to delay its actions or die during that period
4.a optional match ups section or at least some tips on how to play her would be nice
