Hey everyone, going to put this up for now, it wont be as detailed initially but i will be updating it especially over the next week because guides made for a 1 day god are a bit too standardized. however looking at other guides i decided i would put this out earlier then i normally would and hopefully get some more feedback.
Also because i see this lacks in every guide, i have put down the reasons why you pick up certain items, i think its very important that players understand what it is they are building and why. game compositions will change and if you want to improve you need to understand what and why you are doing/buying, if you understand you can apply it to any god or situation.
So keep checking back and if you find something in game thats interesting let me know, i really appreciate any feedback to improve guides.
Warrior Tabi
Normal boots, provide your basic speed, attack power, crit etc...
Devourer's Gloves
Early game stacks will provide a massive amount of power while giving you survivability with lifesteal, this item is preferred over soul eater because it gives far more attack power, one of the highest in the game as well as more lifesteal.
Deathbringer
So why pick this up so early, well our little friend has this great skill that increases his attack speed while increasing his crit chance, ALSO his ultimate has a small "mini-game" that allows you to, if your good at doing it, get guaranteed critical strikes on the enemy, so what better way to do that then to increase the damage of those strikes, as a added bonus it gives 50 power as well.
Hydra's Lament
Again one of my fave items, this baddass trident gives a massive 50 dmg, as well as cooldown reduction which is great cause face it your skills have fairly long cd on them, but the added bonus is that passive skill which gives 125% of your power into your next basic attack after casting a skill. so lets see. you can use 3rd skill to close the distance then auto attack for that bonus, 2 secs later your skill auto attacking but they run, so cast 1st skill for the slow, and keep hitting, and same with your 2nd skill, you can mix the order but you can see its a lot of damage output.
These are your core items.
Still testing these but situationally if you need that defense because you are close range.
Voidblade
Extra dmg, good protection from physical and flat penetration.
Jotunn's Wrath
This lacks the protection of Void Blade but offers slightly more damage, cons of it are less penetration then void blade and no protection. atm i wouldnt take it over void blade because the dmg is only 10 more, less penetration and no protection.
Titan's Bane
fairly solid item, 33% penetration and 30 dmg, great if they have tanky gods.
Executioner
Solid item, good attack speed and good dmg the passive armor penetration is also good and stackable, this works well because this god has a high attack speed.
Fatalis
Massively faster attack speed as well as movespeed, means faster ganking or escaping as well as landing far more critical strikes.
As you can see the last few items are Penetration items i will just need to test these a bit more too see which offers the most, atm im leaning on Void Blade and either Titan or Executioner, probably Executioner.
WHY NOT THESE ITEMS?
Frostbound Hammer
Aside from the slow and a little life it offers nothing else, creeping curse is a far superior item for catching prey, ALSO you have plenty of distance closing skills.
Rage
Low damage, fairly low attack speed, this item is a waste on this god because his critical chance is already very very high and increasing it further is a waste of the passive.
Brawler's Beat Stick
I wish i could never see this in game on AD carries, lower life steal then dev gloves, no damage, 150 mana is nothing and not needed, critical chance which is lower then other items and like mentioned you already have high crit chance, so get more damage items so that the crit damage will be higher. passive heal reduction i find can be overcome through shear power and penetration items.
Girdle of Might *Aggressive Damage
Always good to boost up your damage before you engage on an enemy, i pick this up quite often on close range gods.
Creeping Curse *Aggressive Damage
This skill makes it easier to chase down fleeing enemies and get the most from your 2nd skill.
Purification Beads *Survivability - Situational
These get picked up if they have gods like Ares or Hades, since you have no other way to escape a hades ulti or ares ulti, if thye have these gods pick it up sooner rather then later and expect those ultis to come from level 5.
Shielded Recall *Survivability
The new ability that might just be slightly OP, while you still take damage you are immune to CC and it teleports you back really fast so you can use this to escape those situations when the whole team gank you, remember you dont have a leap or dash escape so these sorts of things will work well.
This will be coming soon once i have experimented more with different god combinations. so please check in again soon.
Also if there is anything specific you would like me to cover please mention it in the comments.

i level it first because mostly when i lane early enemies escape with almost no life and the ability to catch and stun is good, you can get 1 into ring if you want but i find it a bit lack luster at the very game start, also aggressive enemies that gank under your tower, pulling them as they try leave once the tower focuses them can snag you a kill.
rage i dont pick up on him because he crits enough without it and you would probably only get 2 charges out of rage before it crits and resets, other then that rage's other stats are very low and other items are better. hydra is one of the highest base dmg items so why not pick it up, the cd, tbh i use it a lot because Ne Zha has long cd's, keeps me able to spam my 2nd skill over and over and since his base scaling is so high for damage, the extra dmg is pretty good especially when considering your attacks are generally pretty nicely spaced out instead of burst, its like getting polynomicon on freja except physical.
fatalis is a item i really enjoy for a number of reasons, aside from the fastest attk speed item in the game, the movespeed i always use AND the removal of backwards/sideway movespeed drops, means i can even block enemies easier, the other reason for the higher attk speed is, this build has a lot of dmg items in it, which means more lifesteal from dev gloves, the amount of hp you steal back is pretty high and really quick so you can fight their whole team and still come out with max hp.
However i did list situational items of which fatalis is among them which means if you feel you dont need to be faster, pick up a different one like titans bane etc, its purely a situational choice item and not a core item.
so the only core item build we are discussing is hydra and i would say think of it as polynomicon, since Ne Zha can be a early game assassin he can gank and make good use of the extra dmg. as for the skills, its player preference that matches their style, i use it like this for easy kills early game, the stun and distance closing is more reliable then the slow, remember that most of the time early game, the ring tends to prioritize bouncing to creeps so if you get 1-2 stacks on a god your lucky.
The ring provides stacking debuffs and a slow and movement Speed for Ne Zha, it also really helps with jungling and farming, not to mention if you catch opponents out of position it can do massive damage if two gods are the only thing close to each other.
Next I have two really big questions on why you pick up Hydra's lament and Fatalis? Hydra's lament is only going to be good on gods that do burst physical, spacing out Ne Zha's abilities to make use of the passive from rage will REDUCE the damage and increase the likelyhood of an enemy escaping. Ne Zha is built around sustained auto attack damage, not burst from his abilities so the cooldown reduction isn't a benefit to him, the 50 physical power is nice but an item like rage will work well with Ne Zha as it synergizes with everything he has to offer.
On Fatalis, the only real benefit it offers Ne Zha is movement speed, but if you have good positioning you don't need the movement speed. Executioner, Rage and his 2 get him close enough to max that having an item that only gives attack speed doesn't benefit him as much as other choices, and if you're really worried about enemies escaping Frostbound hammer is even a better choice than Fatalis (even though I don't recommend it) due to the fact it comes with Physical power and a bit of health which can at least help your passive if you can't peel out of the fight in time.

might need a rework with the Armillary Sash buff though, we shall see.
this is my build so far for him, I'm not looking forward to having to remake it when the nerf hits.
Relay like that you use Deathbringer and Hydra's Lamen +1 from me ;)
Reason for not picking up Eye of Retaliation is because his life is so low the % of dmg you will get back is pretty low, and the 12% lifesteal isnt as high as dev gloves which give 25% ls and 50 power. IF you need more stealing pick it up but with the current dps output there isnt a need for more hp stealing, or at least its less effective, that being said it is not a bad item.
Ive made a change to the second guide under your comment though, switch rage with eye, thebes will get you close to 4000hp (ludicrous i know) NOW if you have eye and 4k hp....thats another story right. second guide you changes your role from ganker to more sustained OP damage.
i actually like seeing other peoples guides, at least people that put in some thought to the items, most people make guides with the common items that are decent on all AD's but not the best.
however you and i both will have to redo our guides when he gets nerfed, and im fairly certain he will be getting a really hard nerf. base damage and speed + crit chance are just OP and honestly his life isnt low enough that its that bad. gonna add a troll build here, i tried something earlier for a laugh and its actually OP as well T___T
Anyway, good guide
And by storm I meant guide.
