The main objective with this build is to stack so that you will have major power when i comes to mid or late game, the build is designed to not only give some tankiness with Warlock's Sash, but also give a huge power spike with both stacking items. I choose to build boots third because of her escape and the fact that she shouldn't need to be fast if staying behind allies. Polynomicon is built as the life steal because of the buff acquired from your abilities, and with this build her auto attacks already do insane amounts of damage. Obsidian Shard is then built for even more pen later on into the match. Last but not least Rod of Tahuti, with this item you will be getting kills left and right.
The first item built is Doom Orb for that early power spike to confirm your kills, and late game to combo with the other items and one-shot enemies without major protections. Next are Shoes of the Magi, This item is built next so that Scylla has increased movement speed and a bit of pen. After shoes you want to go into Chronos' Pendant for increased mp5 and decreased cooldowns. Then start to build Obsidian Shard for even more magical power and penetration. After build Soul Reaver for more mana and magical power, with a buff on damaging abilities. The last item Rod of Tahuti is built for even more magical power, and increased magical power by 25% which will sure come in handy in those late game team fights.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.

Also, for an Arena specific build, would probably suggest getting shoes earlier...with a 5 on 5 teamfight, extra mobility, even with
Finally, my suggestion is to consider
Just suggestions, cuz I play Arena a lot, but I don't play
