Scylla is the newest edition to Smite as of 05/03/2014. Scylla is the Horros of the sea! From Greek Mythology Scylla was the definition of being between a rock and a hard place!
Scylla is a Ranged Mage with high AOE damage.
I don't know how to link the skills into this just yet as it is my first guide but here goes!
Scylla's passive is "Quick Learner".
Each of Scylla's abilities gain an additional effect at max rank. in addition, Scylla gains 20 magical power for each max rank ability.
At early game, this is useless, it does nothing for you. But by mid-end game, this makes for some amazing damage!
Next we have "Sic 'Em"
Scylla send two hounds forward, damaging, rooting and cripping the first enemy hit.
At max rank, two addition enemies nearby the first target will also be hit.
Damage: 60/110/160/210/260 (+60% of your magical power)
Root Duration: 1.25/1.5/1.75/2.0/2.25 seconds.
Cost: 60/70/80/90/100
Cooldown: 10 Seconds.
This skill is the one you should be getting second. Sic 'em is great for early to mid game to ensure the kill when an enemy is running away from you. Or better yet, if you want to trap them before hitting them with Crush. At max rank, this is great in team fights. If enemies stand behind minions you can still trap them, just fire at the minion to get both the minion and the enemy or fire at an enemy in a group to get 3 enemies at once!
Next is "Crush".
Scylla creates a magical field that slows enemies. After 5s it detonates and causes damage. scylla may activate the ability again to detonate it early.
At max rank, enemies in the area also have their Magic Protection reduced and targets hit by the damage are slowed for an additional 1s.
Damage: 90/140/190/240/290 (+80% of your magical power)
Slow: 30%
Protection Debuff: 0/0/0/0/25% Magical
Cost: 70/80/90/100/110
Cooldown: 10s
This skill should be your first priority. The area is large enough that if you place it and wait for minions to walk into it, you can hit all 6 if you detonate it at the right time. This does some serious damage early game and some major damage mid-end game! Use this if you have someone chasing you, throw it just in front and walk through it. It can give you just enough time to get away whilst your Sentinal is on cooldown!
Which brings me to "Sentinel"
Passive: Scylla gains MP5 while this ability is not on cooldown.
Active: Scylla summons a sentinel to the target areas, granting vision of enemies for 5s. Scylla may activate the ability again within 5s to move to the sentinel location. At max rank, the vision is granted through line of sight blockers and placement range increases.
Passive MP5: 4/6/8/10/12
Vision Range: 40/50/60/70/80
Summon Range: 55/55/55/55/60
Cost: 70/75/80/85/90
Cooldown: 15s
This is a pretty damn great tool to get away from someone chasing, to get out of enemie Ult zones, to run to the aid of a team mate, or simply to make sure that low health enemy you are chasing doesn't get away. Throw your sentinel forward, teleport to it, use Sic 'em and throw down a Crush and that enemy is dead no matter how low they were!
This is such a useful skill but by no means should it take priority over your other 2 skills.
Ultimate! I'm a Monster!
Scylla reveals her true nature, becoming CC immune for the next 6s and gaining movement speed. She may make one powerful attack during this time. If she kills an enemy god with the attack, she gains another 6s and may attack again.
At max rank, the movement speed bonus doubles.
Damage per hit: 400/500/600/700/800 (+120% of your magical power)
Movement Speed: 35/35/35/35/70
Cost: 100
Cooldown: 90
This ultimate is by far my favourite part of this God!
You get a long range attack (60 feet) in which you can smash down on an enemy god. When you do hit, if you kill an enemy god, you can use it again!! This will make enemies in team fights yell at their screen that you are way OP but relax, your team will love you! You can kill all 5 enemy gods with 1 Ultimate! Scylla gave me my first Penta kill! At max rank, this hits for over 1000, 1400 if the gods are squishy!
I try to play Scylla either Mid or Duo.
Mid is great if you don't have a jungler, you can teleport through the walls, take out the mid camps to give yourself that mid lane boost on your enemy. Just make sure you ward up the jungle behind you both sides because ganking really hurts! Scylla is squishy!!
Duo lane is best if you aren't mid when you have someone like Ares or Ymir with you. The ultimates line up, you can both get them at the same time. Let them stun, then you ultimate on their ***es!
I actually love Scylla, in just a day, I am Mastery level 2 with her.
The reason for the build I use is that her movement speed is pretty quick anyways so you might as well get that extra power boost on your enemy early game and THEN worry about your boots later!
This also gives your the chance to build your stacks on warlocks sash early on and allows you to remove some of your squshyness with the extra health.
Demonic Grip is obvious, lots of magic power, attack speed and magic protection debuff!
Boots is self explanatory!
Polynomicon... That Lifesteal helps out with your squishyness and provides alot of magical power as extra damage too!
The Obsidian Shard is great for those people that build to defend against you after your early game smashing and last bu not least...
Scylla is a mage, so Rod of Tahuti is a definate must!
This was my first guide, I hope you find it usefull! Any criticism's will be appreciated.

As you can probably tell, I am new to the world of MoBAs and am still getting a handle on things. Apparently, what I thought I was building was completely garbage and since reading your posts, my game has only improved. Thank you.
Your polynomicon is useless with you have 10 second CD's...you're not going to do anything and with how Scylla needs to combo her 1 and 2 well, you're not going to proc it nearly ever.
Also your skill order is curious. You seem to perfectly balance her 1 and 2, but that kinda goes against her passive, and there's definitely one or the other that you should max.
Finally, this is just a little bit of a more wordy build-only type thing. You have a build order, a skill order, a brief skill summary and description, and then a conquest summary, not even a guide.
You need to defend your item selections in their own section, need an alternatives section, a laning and teamphase section, and possibly others.
But I'll leave that up to you as a guidemaker.
I'm also very aware of her amazing ability to be super squishy. You offer 0 situationals to counter that problem. I almost always build a Breastplate of Valor and voidstone, or idol of concentration. I'm sure you could find plenty more to add onto that.
TT's guide to BBcoding. Here is a guide to some coding to help you out.
You play Scylla duo? I would have to not recommend that. You also didn't put an items section, it's in your gameplay section? Your gameplay section doesn't have any gameplay?
I'm going to downvote.
