Hera damages enemies in a cone in front of her before opening a portal for Argus to attack through. Enemy minions hit by this cone are knocked into Argus' path. Argus then slams his fists at the target location dealing heavy damage. If both of his fists connects with an enemy, it deals 15% extra damage.

Hera brings Argus crashing down at a location, damaging and knocking up enemies. On landing Argus will attack the nearest target. Hera can control where Argus moves through refiring this ability onto an enemy or if he has a target, to recall him. While recalled Argus will defend Hera and attack anyone that gets close. Argus has a hit chain that starts with a normal basic attack, into a ground circle AoE slowing enemies by 20% for 1s, into a line attack.

Extended Build

Introduction

This is a build I have had lots of success within both conquest and other game modes such as clash.

Hera is a mage that deals most of her damage through Argus, the Defender. Hera on her own is strong as well but does lack a proper escape ability, which makes her quite vulnerable. However, Hera does have something else to defend herself that currently no other mages except have aside from Eset. It is her ability to shield herself. The only flipslide is that Hera needs to use her shield Divine Shroud to make the most out of Argus, the Defender.

This build will make make Hera into a very disruptive and sustained mage. By having full CDR + the effects from Spear of Desolation and Staff of Myrddin your abilties will be up a lot especially during team fights. With Staff of Myrddin you will be able to chase gods very effectively with Argus and dish out tons of damage even with the relatively low amount of penetration. You really do not need lots of it with Hera to make her work.

This build also provides amazing survivability with her own Divine Shroud + Book of the Dead + Bulwark of Hope you will be nigh unkillable in the lategame.

    -Strong very long range CC
    -plenty of CDR

    -No dash or leap Escape Ability
    -Slow early game
    - Needs Argus to do significant damage
