Introduction

Welcome to my Skadi God Guide! She is one of my favorite gods to play as and least favorite gods to go against. Her and Kaldr wreck the battlefield side by side. I got this build from YouTuber and Streamer FrostFangs from one of his first videos he made with Skadi. The guide is what I have to say based off of experiences from gameplay. Hope you enjoy.

Skills

Use Skadi's 1, Piercing Cold, to slow and do damage to enemies. Put Kaldr on the enemy just hit with Piercing Cold to do double damage to the enemy from Kaldr. This move is a good clear.
Use Skadi's 2, Rune Of The Hunt, to mark enemies for Kaldr to attack. When Kaldr isn't marked on an enemy he will rest and regenerate health.
More Info

Skadi's 3, Permafrost, is a crowd control move that does damage to enemies on it, and makes them lose control and slide in the direction they were heading.Enemies on this can bounce off walls or other sidings. This move is great for pulling enemies out of towers, phoenixes, and other areas that they may be hiding in. Also great for slowing enemies down to catch up.
More Info

Skadi's ultimate, Winter's Grasp, roots enemies in range, and Kaldr heals to full health and is immune to damage. Enemies inside the storm take damage every second.
Skadi's passive, Kaldr, The Winter Wolf, switches Kaldr between Beast and Elemental forms. While in Beast form Kaldr attacks enemies; while in Elemental form Kaldr returns to Skadi's side and regenerates health over time.

Ability Combos

Permafrost can be used at the beginning or end of the combo, but Piercing Cold should pretty much always be before Rune Of The Hunt to get the double damage.

You can always end any combo with Winter's Grasp. You could start a combo with it, but then you don't get the benefits of fully healing Kaldr and that ability of staying in the fight longer.

Items

Item One

Start with Transcendence to build stacks from the beginning. These stacks will give you extra physical power. It also adds to your mana, which is good because with Transcendence 3% of your mana is converted to physical power. You gain 5 stacks for each god kill and one stack for every minion kill. It maxes at 50 stacks.

Items Two, Three, and Four: The Core

Get shoes after Transcendence. Warrior Tabi is a great option and the one I always go for. However, Ninja Tabi is always an option. Warrior Tabi gives you more physical power and movement speed.

Next, I go for Frostbound Hammer. It gives you more physical power and extra health. With Frostbound Hammer, enemies hit by your basic attack lose movement and attack speed. I find that great for catching up to the god and releasing Kaldr on them. It also goes well with the theme.

Then, I follow up with Qin's Sais. It gives more physical power and attack speed. Attack speed is great for hunters, like Skadi. With Qin's Sais basic attacks deal physical damage equal to 4% of the enemies' health. This only works on gods.

Other Options

Item Five

You have a decision to make on the next item. You can buy The Executioner}} for more physical power and attack speed. Basic attacks with this item also reduce enemies' physical protections against you for a max of 3 stacks. [[The Executioner is good for going against enemies that have built physical protections against you and are slightly difficult to kill. Sometimes I'll get Hastened Fatalis instead of The Executioner. It gives you an attack and movement speed buff, as well as removing a movement speed debuff when you hit a basic attack. However, if the enemies are easy to kill and are pretty squishy go for Deathbringer. It gives you more physical power and critical strike chance. It also increases critical strike damage by 40%. This is the item I usually go with.

Item Six

Wind Demon

Now to buy your last item. You have lots of crits to chose from so choose carefully. If you haven't already bought Deathbringer you should go with that item. If you have, you much choose between Rage and Wind Demon. Rage gives you physical power and critical strike chance. With Rage if your basic attack doesn't do critically strike, the critical strike chance increases for 10% at a max of 6 stacks. Wind Demon gives you physical power and critical strike chance. Critical hits increase your attack and movement speed with Wind Demon.

Pros / Cons

Pros

Kaldr is a great asset
High crowd control
Pusher
Versatile kit
Doesn't require much mana

Cons

Ranked hard
Kaldr can easily lose hit points
Bad early game clear
Can be hard to mark Kaldr on correct target

Summary

Skadi is a strong god. Kaldr allows her to stay decently out of the fight, while doing massive amounts of damage that instantly melt enemies. Her kit is very nice and has a great set up to get many kills. The addition of Kaldr with Skadi makes her pesky to play against, especially with Winter's Grasp.

Why frostbound?
I think you would be better off with asi for pen, atk speed, and life steal

The physical power boost makes her 1 and 3 stronger while adding a little health. It also slows the enemies down making it easier for Kaldr to catch up to them. Combining her 3, her 1, and then her 2 with all the physical power is lethal.

15 penetration is MUCH better for damage than 25 power, so Asi wins in that regard. However, it looks like you're going for a hybrid build, so if you want the slow, then sure.

Also, Wind Demon is almost always better than Rage. Rage is good for crit uptime, but it doesn't give you anything else. Wind Demon allows for chasing, works with Sais, and does more dps overall.

Bbcoding would be nice for the guide, as well.
