Skadi Build

Example Build 1 - Power x Crit

Notes Cowl for starter, rush trans. Post trans you get crusher for attack speed and power scaling, move right into crit with the bow and then top the crit off with deathbringer.

Choose whichever glyph you see fit for the situation. I go with the poison one mostly.

Notes I start cowl for the early sustain and work on trans. Remaining 200g goes towards 3 health pots and 1 mana pot. Toyed around with this balance all S8 and for now, 3 heal 1 mana is the move.

Skadi throws an icy spear forward, dealing damage to enemies and Slowing them for 3s. Kaldr's basic attacks deal double damage to targets afflicted by Piercing Cold.

Rune Of The Hunt

Toggle: Skadi marks a target for Kaldr to hunt. While toggled on, Kaldr assumes Beast form, chasing and attacking the marked enemy. If a marked enemy dies Kaldr attacks other enemies nearby. When toggled off, Kaldr stops attacking and returns to Skadi, reverting to his Elemental form on the way. This ability can be activated at rank 0 and Kaldr gains new skills as it ranks up.

Skadi freezes the ground for 5s at a target location. The icy area deals damage to enemies that touch it and continues to deal additional damage every .5s they stay on it. Gods who step on the ice are slowed and lose control of their movement while sliding across. Also, Skadi gains movement speed and Slow immunity while standing on the area and persists for 3s after it fades or she leaves.

Winter's Grasp

A snowstorm surrounds Skadi as she chooses a location for Kaldr to attack. If Kaldr is too far he will leap there.

Upon reaching the location a snowstorm also surrounds Kaldr. The initial hit of either snowstorm Roots enemies in the area and Kaldr is restored to full health. The storms persist for 4s while dealing damage to enemies every .5s.

Introduction

Welcome to my S8 guide for Skadi

I am a casual player who primarily plays conquest.
remains my favored adc by far, thus this is a guide for Skadi in the duo lane.
Do note: there are a few build options above based on playstyle, preference and matchups.
This is my first smitefire guide, and I am open to any and all feedback - discussions are welcome!

OMG! This Build is still Crazy. The Damage is Insane. Playing 12:1 in Arena or better is no Problem! :D Im new playing Skadi and got 6 Wins in a Row. Thank you mate <3.

Just carried 30k dmg with this build instead of boots I built asi

Solo, jungle, carry....doesn't matter. Use build one to a T. Learn to use the 2>3>1 combo and ult on squishies.....easy kills, easy wins

I only play casual but use this site for build ideas. Used this one to a T. carry, jungle, solo....didn't matter. Always ahead, always the leader. Highly suggest build 1. Once you learn to use her, 2>3>1. Ult on the squishies.....easy mode.

Dude so glad to hear that! It's been my jam. Had to tweak based on the latest update (8.2).

I feel like the power + crit gives Skadi that needed late game clean up. If you can pair with a tank and just stay alive you WILL shred.

You seriously don't run into any mana issues early? Going Cowl, no matter the god, I find at least one is absolutely necessary.

In a crit build, I would personally just rush Wind Demon like you do in build #2; although makes sense in a power/pen build, it makes less sense in a crit build. And in that vein, I'd say is also not the best option; I'd just stick to . If anti-heal isn't needed, should also be a functional 3rd crit item.

I think some pen is missing. Either or should be, at bare minimum, an option. Having both be completely missing, and having instead (which was great in S7 but not so much in S8) is a fair oversight.

Personally would choose over , but that's just my pref.

So yes, typically I do run into some mana issues around the 1200 gold mark, so a mana pot would not hurt at all. Great advice, I'm going to adjust.

I totally agree regarding the Beat Stick. I haven't actually run that item yet on this build. I have been getting more and more reps in and always use the Shuriken, so I'll update this guide there as well!

Additionally my brother (#1 partner when playing) always suggests Dominance as well! I think it DEFINITELY turns up at the end of the game with Skadi.
