Explanation of Build and Items

As a solo laner, Sobek should constantly be in the midst of the brawl, debuffing enemies and CCing them within the teamfight and being able to dish out a fair bit of damage over time to squishy targets. These core items help him achieve that:

Warrior’s Blessing - Essential for almost any solo laner, this offers early game sustain and tankiness to Sobek during the laning phase.
Shoes of Focus - Obviously crucial for the movement speed, it also provides a cheap burst of power to allow you to hit harder with your abilites. The mana and CDR also helps with your ability orientated playstyle, hitting your combos more often.
Stone of Binding - A heavily underrated item, but on Sobek it is both deadly and unkillable. Sobek has three crowd control abilities, allowing him to constantly gain an extra 15 penetration against enemies, as well as the base 30 power from it. Also, the 30 of each protections boosts your survivability overall.
Breastplate of Valor - A staple item for solo, Sobek will be much tankier against physical opponents, and the mana and MP5 is also nice for spamming abilities. The huge 20% CDR means you can pull off the infamous pluck and f*** combo that much more often, as well as your other abilities of course.
Void Stone - With strong base stats including health, power and magical protection this item is overall a tanky one, but the extra 20 protection reduction comboes extremely well with the 15 from Stone of Binding, allowing your abilities to hit harder as well.

In addition to these items, your should also aim to pick up one more physical defense item and one more magical defense item to adapt to each game and situation, and ultimately sell boots for a huge protection spike through Mantle of Discord (along with an Elixir of Speed of course).

i recommend adding the speed pot doesn't hurt to get more speed if you're gonna sell boots

Stone Of Binding is more of a guardian support and jungle item, it can work in solo - but only midway to later in your build where you’re typically likely to rotate for teamfights.

Your build direction is interesting but can work. You have a point with Stone of Binding, but as you're likely the only one taking advantage of it that early, I'd consider it a flex pick (better if facing a phys solo and magical jungler, or vice versa, but not a phys solo + phys jung). In that case, I'd probably opt for either Dynasty Plate Helm or Celestial Legion Helm, and consider getting Shoes of the Magi instead of Shoes of Focus...CDR shouldn't be that much of a problem, because you get the mana buff, you're opting into BoV as a core item pretty early, and you have other item options with CDR late.

Not sure I'd consider Jade that late. The other items overall look good, though I don't personally like Genji's Guard in your options...not when again, you have BoV. You'll get better use, IMO, in just going with any of the other magical prot items, especially Oni or Pest.

You really should offer skill leveling order suggestions. The tool is right there in the builder.

Oops the items are in the wrong order! I normally sandwich Stone of Binding in between Breastplate and Void Stone, because like you said too early and it loses value, and too late it offers weak stats.

I’ll definitely swap the Genji’s for something like Oni or Pestilence, but I feel with both Void Stone and Stone of Binding there is enough penetration to warrant Shoes of Focus rather than Magi, especially with the removal of Genji’s IMO.

Forgot the skill levelling was a thing, these are my first few builds oops!

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
