Introduction

Hello there fellow SMITE players,

This guide might help you doing well as a Chronos. One of Chronos his biggest talent is his ability to splitpush really hard. With this build you will not only be wrecking your the enemy gods, but also the enemy defences.

About me:
I am a pretty experienced SMITE player that goes by the in-game name: RandomApple. I have been playing since the closed beta and I want to share my knowledge with you guys.

Pros and Cons

1. Pros and Cons:

Pros:
- High Sustain
- Great splitpush potential
- ''Oh ****!'' button (Ultimate)
- Hard CC

Cons:
- Weak early game
- Squishy
- Bad minion clear in the early game

Chronos' abilities

2. Chronos' abilities:

Wheel of Time (Passive):
Your passive will allow you to splitpush really fast. Make sure to use Accelerate when the Wheel of Time is pointing at IV so your basics will do massive damage.

Time Rift:
This ability will be hitting the hardest once fully leveled. You want to hit your Stop Time to make it easier to land this ability.

Accelerate:
As explained before you will need to combine this ability with the Wheel of Time to actually make your basics hit hard. You could also stop the Wheel of Time on a different part, but in my opinion this is not really worth it as it just takes away damage. Obviously in certain situations this could still be benificial.

Stop Time:
This is your main way of clearing the minion waves, so I suggest you level this up first to get some nice farm going.

Rewind:
Keep your ult unless you know you are going to die. If that is the case use it as quick as you can to be safe.

Build

3. Build:

Shoes of the Magi:

- Shoes of the Magi will help you build some more damage and get that early penetration.

Book of Thoth:

- This item will give us some nice early damage. We are getting Book of Thoth second because of the need of stacking.

Demonic Grip:

- As Chronos will be using his basic attacks to put out magical damage this item's passive is perfect.

Rod of Tahuti:

- We have got the attack speed, that will increase Chronos' dps on his basics, covered. Now we need to get a source of high magical power and the Rod of Tahuti offers this like no other item does. Once you have build the Rod of Tahuti you can start doing some real damage on towers and maybe start your splitpushing.

Polynomicon:

- We are focussing on Chronos' his basic attacks, so Polynomicon is a must have. As the passive is based on basic attacks as well. Once you have Polynomicon built you will definitely start taking towers down really quickly.

Obsidian Shard:

- This is your last item and by now it should be late game. This means people might have built magical protection, so getting some more penetration would do you good. You have several items that can provide this, but Obsidian Shard has the most magical power to go with that penetration.

Gameplay

Conclusion

You have now succesfully build a Chronos that does not only do massive damage to gods, but can also take down towers in no time. Now it is time for you all to hop on the splitpush train and win your game ^^

Good luck carrying your matches and feedback would be very much appreciated.

Adding in alternatives would help the guide, as well as your preferred and tested actives on Chronos. For example, Rod of Tahuti 4th may be iffy to some players because if you're behind as of that point it may be too little to late. You may not climb the 3000g required to buy it before your team gets hopelessly behind.
I will say the guide looks nice however, so really good job there. I like the items section and your explanation doesn't seem horrid.

I need to say I disagree with your use of Accelerate because early game the mana return is pretty useful.
also putting a gameplay in will help most beginning players to Chronos

This is true, but you will not be able to poke your enemy once you do clear the wave. I will try working on a gameplay.
