Introduction

Hi there and welcome to my overall 20th guide and it will be on Sun Wukong The Monkey King he is overall a strong warrior that is more skilled and advanced then the standard warriors in a disrupting way as he has many ways to start fights as well as disrupt fights with his double knock up combo/ stun & knock up combo and his knock up & stun combo in general its like a game of rock paper scissors in terms of avoiding those

i will assume that you know the basics of what AA FG GF AD and AP mean as well as AoE MIA CD and CDR but just in case:

AA - Auto Attack

FG - Fire Giant

GF - Gold Fury

AD - Attack Damage

AP/MP - Ability Power/Magic Power

AoE - Area Of Effect

MIA - Missing In Action

CD - Cooldown

CDR - Cool Down Reduction

HP - Hit Points/health bar

MP - Mana Points

HP5 - Health/hit Point Regeneration per 5 sec

MP5 - Mana point regeneration per 5 sec

DoT - Damage Over Time

HoG - Hand of gods

ADC - Attack Damage Carry

APC - Ability Power Carry

Pros / Cons

Pros:

+ Can be very tanky with his help from his passive Undefeated Body

+ Decent Poke with The Magic Cudgel

+ good solo laner

+ great disruptor due to his Master's Will

+ good mid game burst and additional disruption with 72 Transformations

+ Ultimate Somersault Cloud can change the tide of a fight

+ 72 Transformations is very flexible can be a initiation or a escape

+ good AA progression

+ great synchronization with most junglers for ganks

+ very good late game

Cons:

- 72 Transformations can be slowed in its offensive forms

- 72 Transformations can be stopped with stuns/silences

- 72 Transformations can be hard countered by a Tyr as his Fearless in assault stance cancels out any of out forms

- The Magic Cudgel falls of late game by a bit - to a lot depending on enemy build as far as poke goes

- your push is not ideal The Magic Cudgel can fully whipe a minion wave often forcing you to finish it off with Masters Will

- weak to strong early push such as Eset

- once some one masters predicting the movement of 72 Transformations it can become simpler to avoid in some cases...

Skills

Passive: when bellow 35% HP we gain bonus protections and crit strike chance

spell 1: this is our poke it has decent range and is always a good skill to land [size]

spell 2: this is our disruption skill it deals fair damage and does a small knock up

spell 3: this ability of ours is so great it can be used for escapes burst or initiation in its 3 forms bird tiger and ox

spell 4: this is our ultimate in general what we do is simple we charge it up we jump onto a cloud and enter stealth and heal for a % of our max HP over the duration we can use that time to judge the situation and plan out our next move carefully it can also buy us time to change a fight and ect...

Items

here i will explain my item options

Early Game:

1-mystical mark this item is gotten to counter physical solo laners
2- Ninja Tabi for the movement speed and CDR which we like and need
3- Hide of the Urchin we get this for its hybrid protections in case of a magical solo lane enemy god we get this first

Mid Game:

4- Bulwark of Hope for its great stats or Pestilence in case of heavy healing
5- Qin's Sais for its boost to damage out put and attack speed

>->-> Late Game <-<-<

we have a lot of options for the 6th item such as:

1- Hastened Fatalis will makes us move really fast and stick to our enemy like glue for the most part it also boosts our damage out put by a lot...

2-in case we get either of the ankh tier 3 options Ankh of the Golem ankh of the bear we will boost our over all protections and damage out put

3- Mail of Renewal this item is actually quite amazing with its high protection values and CDR but with its passive as well which if well used in combination with out Ultimate can make us go from near death to nearly full by the time our ultimate is done

4 - other magic protection items can come in here if the enemy has strong magical damage out put (freya jungle,He Bo mid,geb/sobek tank) is a good example for when to go with more magic protections idol of concentration is a good option in case of hard CC

Actives

in general Sun Wukong is a solo laner and that means Shielded Teleport + Hand of the Gods/ Fist of the Gods is a must otherwise you may fall behind or have your buffs stolen which is far to much of a risk thus there is not much to talk about here in case your in the jungle you can get pretty much any active that benefits you or the team so yeah....

General play style and combos

The Start

once in lane you want to poke the enemy god with The Magic Cudgel and use to to weaken minion waves then kill them off with AA and ect... otherwise you just use Hand of the Gods on the minion waves instead when you can latter on a cast of The Magic Cudgel + Master's Will will fully clear waves for a time

when there is a enemy got at around 60% - 75% HP you want to cast your 72 Transformations in tiger form for the stun and high single target damage then do a few AA then right before they can run hit Master's Will then a few more AA then finish them off with The Magic Cudgel this is how you usually fight in the solo lane

the strong point of Sun Wukong is also that he can switch up his combo while maintaining its full effect in order to mess up the timing of enemy gods in case they got used to the usual attacks you make you can go with Master's Will follow it up with AA until they start to run away then hit the 72 Transformations in tiger form to stun them and burst them then follow up with more AA then finish them of with The Magic Cudgel

this can even come while there expecting just normal poke from The Magic Cudgel thus they need to be always on guard

Overall Role as Sun Wukong

As Sun Wukong you are not a assassin nor are you a tank your a bruiser your role is to assist the team by following up initiations and giving your team time to focus out the enemy carry and help them take it out as well if you can

in case your team for some reasons lacks a tank you can be the initiator with the a combo of 72 Transformations in ox form and a well timed Master's Will after those 2 spells well they should make a 1.7 sec or time gab for your team to follow it up and pray it works out

Summary

is in general a strong solo laner pick and brings disruption to the team fights which should not be underestimated and i hope this guide helps you all out

Look, I myself have talked to you about this: If you want to make a guide for every God, that is fine. But please make quality guides.

A good quality guide, despite what a lot of people might think, it not a difficult task. The BB Coding is not hard to learn, and the outcome is better than a guide that looks like it was put together in 10-15 minutes.

If you have made so many guides AFTER all of us have requested that you put time into your guides, then it is fairly obvious that you do not value the opinion of the people who are viewing your guide.

Not being rude, I really am not, but please stop making so many guides if none of them are good. Not all are bad, but it feels like spam.

You know what? Just look at my review for your Tyr guide for my opinion of all of your guides. Quality, non quantity.
