Blink is really good for ult engagements, i'd buy it if my team is doing well as a secondary relic. Have fun and Good luck!
Take your pick, all options are good depending on your comp.

Also I dont have the start listed on any of my guides, I guess I could add that, but its always the same Starter -
I typically would get regular wards early, and only start getting Sentries as objectives become more important. I know that counter-warding early can help with ganks and whatnot, but it's a decent amount of extra gold to lay down in the early stages when you're still really looking to get more items online.
But I guess that skipping chalice and just getting potions is also a functional start strat.
If I'm that low HP that I need sustain I just recall.
EmilZy is also back to playing and looks like he's sometimes doing that as well:
To me, it seems like there are 4 potentially viable starts depending on the situation...
But he used a potion at the camp to top himself off, as he took damage saving all 3 monsters for his ADC. So this still deviates from Amoral's reason for getting HoG.
Also I think the best start for pots would be

If you wanted to max your cooldowns because you're Xing, you can do:
There are tons of ways to work in 40% cd without having to build the selfish solo lane cooldown items.
Your relic choices are fine, I would start with
I get that everyone has their own playstyle, but at some point you have to conform to the better choices if you are looking to improve. Adding personal play style guides, and such like that isnt good for new players who come here looking for builds. Every new player that comes to the site should be able to click on a guide and go this is the best for X thing. If you wanted to changed this guide into a joust/arena/slash guide that works as well since you can get away with basically any build there.
to conclude, i merely wanted everyone in the smite communities input so that i can make adjustments. I gave my reasons as to why i don't usually get HOG, I generally don't need it. like ive said, i will add it to the guide as my preferences do not matter but it will help others but i have been harassed for purchasing it in games so i wasnt 100% sure if i should add it or not but it looks like im being yelled at for not adding it :).
Not trying to take away from what Amoral is saying; he's right on multiple counts, with regard to best chance of success with a meta build style and considering various balanced aspects of a build. And things tend to get tighter at higher levels of play (where Amoral finds himself), where you want to give yourself as good a chance as possible for a win, which makes build efficiency and effectiveness even more important than normal. And SMITEFire as a group wants to try to promote the strongest builds possible, so that it becomes a more reliable place for newer players to quickly and easily find great builds to use, and guides to explain how to play those gods effectively.
But my suggestion to you is not to take this various feedback as people yelling at you. I didn't get that feeling from Amoral's response, and he's taken the time to explain many of his points and suggestions. I think when people take the time to discuss and explain, and when others take that into consideration, that's the best opportunity for learning and thinking about things in different ways than they might normally do.
You 100% have the right to promote your builds and to publish the ones you feel are best. You can take or leave the feedback provided. It'll be great if we can all get to a point where constructive criticism/feedback is readily given and accepted, even if not in agreement.
Reason why
Thus, in agreement with Kriega on both counts...feel Blink should 100% be listed as an option, and feel that
