Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
SMITEFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new god, or fine tune your favorite SMITE gods’s build and strategy.

1. Double defensive items. Only get 1 situationally if you need it that game. Your build basically has zero relevance lategame as a dps, and even if you have 2 defensive items that doesen't matter because a crit hunter or a warrior/assassin with heartseeker will still melt you.
2. No AA items, when AA-based Chronos is meta way to build him.
3. Soul Gem in a low power build. Soul Gem is incredibly reliant on having high power in your build to be effective.
4. Heavenly Wings. Remove it. Add Aegis. Even Blink is better than getting Heavenly.
Improved build:
Start: Hunter's Blessing / Mage's Blessing, Tiny Trinket, 2 Healing Potions and 2 Mana Potions.
Build: Shoes of Focus, Bancroft's Talon, Demonic Grip, Telkhines Ring, Typhon's Fang, Charon's Coin. Sell boots for Elixir of Speed and either Rod of Tahuti or Chronos' Pendant or Spear of Desolation.
If you don't like Typhons then get Charon's after Telkhines and get Tahuti 6th item.
Charon's or Typhons or your boots replacement would be considered to be swapped out for a defensive item ( Magi's Cloak, Winged Blade, Mantle of Discord) and only if you need it.
Relics: Purification Beads, Aegis Amulet.
Or is this like any other Chronos build that will transition into using Accelerate and basics?
I assume the first as it heavily lacks attackspeed for the second one
Honestly in a mirror matchup I think the inclusion of both Magi's Cloak and Winged Blade you will die vs both an ability focused Chronos and an AA Chronos.
An ability based Chronos that does the Chronos' Pendant rush start will outdamage you heavily early with it's higher magic power and CDR. And late game they will keep doing it on your team and you, since your damage is way weaker.
An AA Chronos will start of doing slightly less damage early game, however will demolish you late game, like they all do as they rely on their basics. Which they can hit slightly easier than Time Rift
The only thing this build has is more survivability, however it trades in a load of damage for the survivability and those extra seconds that provides you won't do more damage
