Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
SMITEFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new god, or fine tune your favorite SMITE gods’s build and strategy.

You could be a bit more constructive in your comments rather than just demoralize someone.
I noticed you made your account today so I figured I'd get this out of the way. This website is intended to help each other grow as Smite players, not a Platform to insult others based off of their in-game builds, play-styles or preferences.
Now Gauntlet of Thebes, with its healing boost, is definitely more interesting, and can be functional situationally. One thing to note in the build is that there is only 1 item with health ( Pestilence), with the rest being protections or damage-based. So, an added, high-health item like Thebes, with its definitely functional healing boost, can work...but if you get that, remember that you have to take something else out of his kit.
However, at higher levels, his heal is going to gain back a ton of the health he loses in a teamfight, as long as he doesn't get completely burst down, so I would say that again, this is situational, not essential.
And that's why you almost never see these two items built in S3...the build seems generally fine to me, but I never like seeing a set of items with no suggested situational alternatives...If there are no major healers on the enemy team, Pestilence is not as good of a choice as Bulwark of Hope, for example...and Shifter's Shield is definitely not core, though it works for Herc. A more interesting choice at the end of S3, depending, might be Shield of Regrowth, or against healers get Bulwark but get the anti-heal from Brawler's Beat Stick...there are definitely options that are not explored here.
