In the beginn phase you can buy more or less Healing Potion or Mana Potion. With the relics I usually go with the Magic Shell but you can also play riskier and take Teleport Fragment. With the Shards you have so seen a free choice but as support I would recommend Carapace Shard because it weakens the enemy protection of the guard.
I play this build very often and have created it myself and is really very strong. In the end you will own 4244 HP 840 Mana and 325 in physical and magical protection, so the highest that is possible. If you manage to fully develop the Prophetic Cloak you will also get 15% damage reduction.
Very important! If your opponent is not magical, change the Pestilence to Contagion. Effect is the same but protection plays an important role. The build is almost indentic to the other but the Divine Ruin plays a big role because it does good damage and reduces healing by 40% for 5 seconds when you hit the opponent with your ability.
With the build, you have the maximum cooldown. That's 40%. You could increase it with Sphinx's Baubles but disadvantage would be that your protection is reduced by 10% and the healing is reduced by 20%.
Lots of health a little less protection but very high mp5 and hp5 regeneration. The advantage of this is that by Heroism your team members are hit by a cc effect that they get 15% of your maximum health as a shield. You also have 20% cooldown so you can protect your team members with your abilities.
Very important! If your opponent is not physical, change the Contagion to Pestilence. If enemies see you with this build, they will definitely think about whether they should attack you or leave it be. Especially Anubis or Thanatos would be eliminated. The strong thing about this build is that Tainted Breatplate, Contagion = Pestilence and Divine Ruin combine and the effects are not lost.

Start with the ability Glacial Strike
Ymir (Old Norse "twin, hermaphrodite" or "noise") is a giant in the Germanic story of creation, who is considered the first living being. His name is considered very old and is linguistically related to the Old Indian Yama and the Old Persian Yima. Another giant of Norse prehistory named Aurgelmir (or Urgelmer or Orgelmir) is often equated with Ymir. Ymir was a bisexual primeval giant. It was formed from the mingling of the glacial ice of Niflheim with the fire of Muspellsheim and fed on the milk of the primeval cow Auðhumbla. When he had drunk the milk of the primordial cow, he fell asleep. From the sweat under his left arm grew a son and daughter, both unnamed. With his feet he produced a six-headed son who is identified with the giant Thrudgelmir. Ymir is torn apart by Odin and his brothers. Etching by Lorenz Frølich (1820–1908) The first gods, Odin, Vé and Vili, killed Ymir and built the world out of his body parts. From his flesh came the earth, from his blood the sea, from his bones rocks and mountains, from his hair the trees, from his eyebrows Midgard, from his skull the sky, and from his brain the clouds. In a similar cosmogonic myth, the world emerged from the Indian primeval man Purusha. Almost all ancient giants drowned in Ymir's blood. Only Bergelmir, the son of Thrudgelmir, escaped with his wife on a boat-like pedestal. He is considered the progenitor of the giant race of Hrimthursen. |

Aegis in Support is kinda troll / super niche, Teleport in Support is also a bit troll / more of a cheese strat (also never something to recommend to the type of players that look up smitefire builds), i'd mention Blink / Horrific / Blighted Ankh / Sprint / Sundering Spear / Phantom shell as options
