It's been a while since my last blog post (and by a while, i mean almost a year ago).
If you've read my previous blog post, i stated that my scholarship application got accepted and i will be stuying in Japan.
Which i have been in for 3 months now :3
Love it here, the place is so great, the food is delicious, and the place is so international. I'm making friends from all over the world XD. And most importantly, even the dorm internet speed is so wicked that i'm still able to play Smite!
Damn ! #JapanLife ! Anyway, are you connecting to the Asian or the NA server ?
Have a nice stay there as well !!! ^^
I ranted quite a while back about the quality of the Oceanian servers lmao, so i usually play on NA.
When i party with my brothers back in Indonesia, though, i play AU because i'd get a full party for joust.
Man that looks fun, kindve jealous.
Anyway do you speak Japanese? Cause language barriers suck.
I'm learning Japanese at the moment (which the sensei describes as "Shinkansen class" since the pace we're learning at is so damn fast!). I'm quite confident when it comes to learning languages however, so i quite enjoy it.
Good to know that internet speeds aren't terrible xD I'm likely moving to Japan in the next few years or so and I was worried about having to drop the games I play in the US xD.
Quick question though. What are the prices like over there? Are they reasonable because I've heard mixed reports on prices and I honestly don't believe them. I'd like to hear it from a reliable source.
Good to know you're having fun. Keep it up!
Well, I'm currently studying in Beppu, Oita. The "city" (you could barely call it a city, you'd call it a town, of sorts) that i live in isn't some metropolitan jungle like Tokyo or Osaka. This means prices are not as outrageous as Tokyo or Osaka, and it's quite reasonable. Meals here are about 600 yen and rent is about 39000 yen per apartment per month. (i'm sure if you've been using US$, you'll have no problem at all.)
Awesome that you're going to Japan, but remember that some Japanese hate foreigners, especially when they act like Weeaboos.
Well, the town (and university) that i'm studying in is filled with international students. Some parents would even bring their kids to campus in order to show them the different kinds of foreigners from around the world :)
I haven't had any trouble with the Japanese up till now, and they're generally friendly and helpful.
