So I got the game before it fully launched (Back in 2014-2013.) and I managed to stumble across it after browsing for new things to tickle my fancy. Not a massive fan of MOBA's back then this added a bit of flair by being behind the back third person which kinda appealed to me as then I was playing MicroVolts (Anyone remember that gem?) which kinda interested me from the bat.
So I get the game and boot it up and start having a browse through the tutorial and the gods available at the time. I of course went straight for Ra since he appealed. Damage dealer and a healer allow him to be safe. I went straight for Arena as most people do when they first boot up the game and of course I do absolute **** against the enemy team.
I was innocent back then. Building random items since I didn't know what was good and hoping for the best. Never finishing the tier 3 items since I couldn't accumulate the gold required. I did get a bit mad at it but that's to be expected. Several years later and over 70 gods mastered (It's becoming a grind right now.) and I can consider myself a jack of all trades but a master of few. I have my odd moments to shine and my moments where I completely hit the ground face first and feed.
So yeah, those are my first few moments of smite and I hope it continues to grow. let me know about your guys' first moments or even favourite moments.
Happy Birthday Smite

On that time (S2), I and my younger brother played on the same account (mine). We played Bakasura almost exclusively. Joust was my most played gamemode before I started playing conquest. Then, I started to play Bakasura... left. Yeah, I instalocked him and went left every game. I didn't know absolutely nothing about the meta.
Now, I hate playing with him, but he still shows as one mine the top gods. And with a lot more of deaths than anything. I also built only AS items and forgot to buy them frequently.
I thought Khepri was supposed to do damage.
