Dracula

The Count of Transylvania

Long ago, he was a renowned soldier and alchemist who would do anything for his homeland. A mastermind and a genius that excelled in many forms of combat and magic. He led his army to battle and claimed victory with ease, impaling any survivors as a mean of brutal execution. His greatest battle against the Turks proved to the world that he was the bravest man that shall not be challenged, for even after death, he will live on.

Buried in the chapel of his grand castle, Dracula returns from the land of the dead with the use of dark magic. Resurrected as a vampire and with his newfound abilities, he plans to take on the world and expand his empire. Simple mortality cannot limit him anymore and world domination has become his sole goal.

Along with his three beautiful vampire brides, he resides in his castle for centuries, slowly turning humans to join his army while draining the blood of those he does not deem worthy. Consumed with power, he reigns terror on mankind and enjoys flaunting his powers. Unfortunately, his hunger for domination and control is what inevitably led to his demise. Chased down by many humans, his reign on mankind ended with a stake through his heart.

Death has consumed Dracula once before, yet that did not stop him. This time, he has resurrected, stronger and more bloodthirsty than ever! And now, he's ready to feast on the Battleground of the Gods!

I'm not an artist, so the ability art might look rough but they're simply there to give an idea of how they could look. And Happy Halloween and I hope you enjoy this spooky God concept and its theme!

Feel free to leave any comments and/or suggestions and I will gladly respond!

Enemies that get hit by this move have their screen swarmed with bats and are blinded for a short duration. This blind refreshes if an enemy stays in the radius. Ultimate Abilities

4
Shapeshifter
Ability: Stance Change
Affects: Self

Dracula switches between a human vampire form and a giant bat form.

Vampire: In his human-like form, Dracula gains bonus lifesteal.

Bats: In his bats stance, Dracula is surrounded by many bats. His basic attacks are ranged and he shoots his bats, consuming them with each shot. Bats remain at their location, or follow enemies if they are hit, for 15 seconds. Dracula regenerates a bat every 5 seconds and its cooldown is reduced by 2 seconds for every successful basic attack.

Ability Lifesteal: 3/5/7/9/11%
Max bats: 20/25/30/35/40
Cost: 0 mana
Cooldown: 2 seconds

Build and Playstyle

A basic build (geared mostly towards a diving jungler):

Ninja tabi -> Brawler's Beat Stick -> Soul Eater -> Hydra's Lament -> Sledge -> Bloodforge
Ninja Tabi to help make use of his cleave attack as much as possible and to boost his attack speed in his range stance.
A penetration item, Jotunn's wrath could be picked up if antiheal is not necessary if you prefer cooldown or Crusher if you're going for a more ability based build. Other than that, Brawler's is the way to go.
Soul Eater because he has a lot of lifesteal and ability lifesteal already so Soul Eater will aid him a lot with more lifesteal.
Hydra's Lament because he has a lot of abilities that can proc the passive which can lead to massive amounts of damage as well as auto attack cancelling.
Sledge because if you're engaging and leaping onto an enemy, you're most likely diving into a few people so a Sledge will help with the bonus protections from its passive.
Bloodforge for some extra healing or for its passive to gain a shield if you're generally diving in on people more often

Other Builds: You can build him in many ways, basic attack builds can follow similar builds to other ADC's or AA focused junglers.
Example: Ninja Tabi -> Golden Blade -> Atalanta's Bow -> The next few items can be purchased in any order -> Stone Cutting Sword, Hastened Katana,
Qin's Sais, Bloodforge

In solo lane, he can get a few more tanky items such as a Mantle of Discord, Void Shield, etc.
Example: Warrior Tabi -> Soul Eater -> Void Shield -> Blackthorn Hammer-> Mantle of Discord -> Sledge
The possibilities are endless with him and that's what I was aiming for here.

Upgrading:

Jungle: Other than that, follow this: As a jungler, you gain more out of your first ability because you gain two abilities from it, both of which aid you in unique ways as well (lifesteal for example). This will help your early game camp clear. Then, upgrade your second ability as it gives you an additional damaging ability as well as a self buff that could prove to be very effective at this stage. At level 3, upgrade your third ability in order to gain additional movement. From here on, focus on the pattern (1-2-4-3). Focusing your 1 first will allow you to do massive amounts of damage with your Vampiric Strike and massive amounts of healing. The damage from Flurry of Bats will also add up quickly. Then focus your 2 for more damage and stronger buffs. Then focusing your ultimate will allow you to gain more lifesteal and bats to stay in the fight longer and output more damage. Finally, upgrading your 3 will give you some more movement speed and will make it last longer, but these aren't strong enough to focus this before any other ability.

ADC: If playing a more ADC role focusing on your auto attacks in your bat stance, you can focus Shapeshifter first to gain more overall bats (4-2-1-3). Then, you'll want to prioritize your second ability to make use of your good clear and zoning from Bat Storm. After that, prioritizing your first ability will allow you to gain more damage and overall sustain which outweighs upgrading your third ability.

Solo: You may also upgrade your second ability first at level one in order to get two full Bat Storms to clear camps or jungle buffs if you do not use any ranged autos. However, keep in mind that this ability has two charges with each their own unique cooldown meaning if you use both charges and then dash to regain half of your bats, you will still have to wait the cooldown to regain a charge. This technique can be applied to any role but is probably best in solo lane and then adc. You may also decide to use an upgrade path such as (2-1-4-3) or (2-4-1-3) to kill minion waves quicker and/or have more bats so that your second ability does more damage.

Overall: Dracula has a very flexible upgrading pattern that depends on how you want to play him.

Example Gank Scenario: Begin by using Misted Sight to be invisible and gain movement speed. Before engaging, make use of your silent abilities and drink a power potion from Master Alchemist. Then use Vampiric Strike from behind the enemy to maximize your damage. If they manage to gain distance after you're done casting, you can use Shapeshifter and then Bat Storm to maximize your damage output. If they are not dead at this point, you can use Echolocation to see if there are enemies nearby that are ganking you and to slow down your enemy. If the coast is clear, use Flurry of Bats to re-engage. From here, using Bat Storm or your basic attacks should finish the job.

Playstyle: Once again, your playstyle can vary in many ways. He can serve as a basic attack focused god in either (or both) stances, he can serve as a tankier character that dives into the enemy team and deals damage while sustaining himself very well, as a sneaky assassin that 100-0 a squishy very quickly and makes his escape, or as an ability focused god that stays at range and pokes with his ranged autos and ranged abilities. It all depends on how you want to play him.

Pros and Cons
Pros: High Sustain, High Mobility
Cons: High Mana Cost, A Lot of Management With Bats

Visual Look

Physical Appearance:
Dracula appears as a towering man with sharp claws on his fingers. He has dark black hair and wears an armor chest piece. He has a long black cape (with red interior) that drapes down to the floor. His legs are covered in some light armor as well. He is mostly a dark coloring but his skin is pale white and he has some hints of other darker shades as well as some blood red in certain locations. His armor is a silver like color. His appearance would be similar to the cart art provided, but with more color.

During his attack chain, he swipes with his right hand, then left hand and then bites in a quick succession and then his two wings come out and hit in the area in front of him, dealing a cleave.

In his bat form, he appears as a giant bat and bats surround him on all sides, he is still very visible though. He would look similar to Camazotz but would have colors much similar to real bats, bigger wings, would always be flying and flapping his wings and would be smaller in size overall.

His attacks would simply look like regular auto attacks but they are replaced by flying bats. Every time he auto attacks, he slightly shifts his wing forward (alternating between the two), commanding a bat to fly forwards. If a bat (or multiple) is on an enemy, it will circle around their player model. If a bat misses, it will simply fly in place where it lands.

Ability appearance:
Vampiric Strike (1): Dracula would leap and his wings would appear out of his back to aid him in his jump and he will bite when he lands. If he latches on a god, he will hold on to them with his hands and repeatedly bite down on them. His wings will stay present as they are helping him keep his balance. He will be CC immune during the biting but will still be vulnerable to damage from anyone. If he is on the target's back however, they won't be able to hit him with auto attacks or abilities that cast forwards.

Master Alchemist (2): A menu similar to The Morrigan's ult pops up and functions in the same way. If you left click a potion, it will use it. If you right click a potion, it will be selected and next time you want to use it, you can press 2 and left click anywhere to activate it. When activated, Dracula will bring out a potion (of corresponding color according to which buff, yellow for speed, red for power and green for lifesteal) shake it a bit and drink it. He then throws it behind him and has a slightly colored aura showing what buff he enabled.

Misted Sight (3): Dracula will vanish and a mist of smoke will reside where he vanished from and disappear after a few seconds.

Flurry of Bats (1): Dracula will dart forwards and any bats surrounding him will travel at the same speed while other bats in the battlefield will travel at the appropriate speed to get to the location all at the same time. The bats that he regains will simply join the pack of bats Dracula already holds.

Bat Storm (2): Bats will fly away from Dracula to the location and begin to fly very quickly in circles, replicating a sort of windstorm. Once the ability is done casting, the bats will fly in place until they expire or are commanded by Flurry of Bats. Also, each unique god hit by a unique casting of this ability, will have one bat leave the ability in order to remain on the targeted god. If they are already marked by a bat, this does not occur but rather refreshes the bat duration on the god.

Echolocation (3): Dracula brings his wings in and opens them up as he screeches.

Shapeshifter (4): Changing from human form to bat form, he will wave his cape around himself and spin, transforming into a giant bat with wings. His bat followers will fly in from above him to join him. Changing from bat form to human form, he will follow a similar movement in a reverse pattern where he covers himself with his wings and spins back to human form. His bats will disperse and fly away when he does this. Also, when bats expire, they will simply fly up and vanish.

Animations:
Death: Dracula falls to the floor, with his arm reaching out and he then turns to ash and disintegrates.

Recall: In human stance, he flexes and pops out one wing, then pops out his other and jumps in the skies and lands back in his fountain and the wings go back in. In bat stance, he flaps his wings a few times to charge up for a big flap that brings him up and he lands back in the fountain.

Introduction: There's a coffin on the ground and Dracula pops open the top and bats fly out everywhere. He then jumps out and it disappears.

Jump: Out of combat jump will be a simple jump, his cape will follow physics as he jumps. In combat jump, he'll lift his knees a bit to be in a sort of crouch positive in the air with his hands and claws out. In bat form, his jump will simply be him flapping his wings and elevating himself.

Wave: In human form, his right wing will extend out and wave for him. In bat form, he'll wave with his right wing as well.

Clap: A simple slow clap in human stance. In bat stance, he'll flap his wings and clap with them.

Dance: His dance could be this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQH4c4r2pF0 (from Hotel Transylvania 3). In his bat stance, he can dance like these bats https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNeD0EWyamc (with more movements)

Baba Yaga: "My house can brew better potions than you, ha!"

Thanatos: "I'll make sure you stay dead this time."

Overall Concept

In Conclusion: The overall idea of this character is to be the first assassin stance switcher. He will be able to fulfill roles in the jungle, solo and carry lanes. He can build in many different ways to suit his different needs, whether it's focused on basic attack damage, lifesteal, or ability damage. He has potential for extreme amounts of lifesteal which makes antiheal necessary against him. He is able to engage easily with his first ability in either form or with his Misted Sight ability. This makes him a scary assassin as he will be able to jump into a crowd and cause massive damage, all while sustaining himself. The best way to deal with him would be to CC him before he is able to latch onto someone and if he does latch, focus him and force him to let go and retreat. Although he is CC immune, he is still vulnerable to damage. A unique way to use him in his ranged stance could be to engage with Bat Storm and immediately use Flurry of Bats in order to gain enough bats for a second charge of Bat Storm. Otherwise, he could use his regaining of bats during exchanges where he runs out of auto attacks.

Final Thoughts: The main idea of Dracula is to be an extremely flexible character, being able to be played and built in many different ways. I understand that these possibilities could lead to him being a lot stronger in certain roles over other, but that can be simply fixed with some balance.

How did you put pictures in the voice lines part. I wanna be able to do that too. I took inspiration from you about making God concepts. Like the voice lines part

Those pictures are database-linked icons. You're talking about these, right?

You can also use full names with small icon. Camazotz

They look like this:
Code:
[icon=Camazotz size=50] [[Camazotz]]

If you wanted, you could also say what his idle animations and victory or defeat screens would be.

Love the passive especially, so simple but makes so much sense with his lore and his desire for blood! Also really like the jokes, "not my type" is hilarious. Great work!
