At the same time, the only point in the game he has trouble 100-0 ADC's and Mages, is early game, where Qin's Sais would be nowhere near your priority. I'd rush a voidblade, deathbringer, or hydra's lament before I rush Qin's. It's sad, I've always like %health items, it provides nice utility against anyone on the team, and it means they can't stack health to survive against both melee and physical instead of straight out protections, as the % health will rot the tank with no armor. Still, it's a late game pick up imo, a 5/6, as Loki first aims to make his Aimed Strike/Vanish/Assassinate/Basic Attacks scale ridiculously hard for huge damage spikes, THEN aims to start increasing his attack speed for life shred. He'd rather his abilities be stronger early game than his autos, as you want to be in a battle for as SHORT as possible.

That said, I still like the idea of the new sais, I just don't find the basis on late-fight health as important, as most fights are decided by the initiation. Sometimes doing very high damage quickly and not killing someone is better than doing slow damage that ramps up, because it may end up forcing them into full retreat. But that's more of a psychological factor than a statistical one, so since I don't really have much more to offer, and I've explicitly explained my on-topic thoughts to Sir, I'll respectfully stop commenting, only because it'll end up mouth-breathing, since I have nothing left to offer.

Oh it is absolutely a late pickup. I just wanted to see if Sais or Blades were better. And the real point is to kill bruisers more easily, since they seem to be the only ones who give me real trouble. Blades definitely seem better in hindsight.
PENTAS: Loki

Example: Raventhor's Tyr Bruiser

2075 + 875 => 2950 HP
75 + 85 => 160 physical protection + 40 protections during Defense Stance

Do you really think that you are able to burst him down solo from 100% HP to death with Loki?
I have to say that I would not fear a Loki if I would play a Tyr with this build.
And if I play Loki I would only jump on this Tyr and expect a kill if he has less than 2/3 HP.

At which time will you do ability damage and at which phase of this fight will you need more damage on your basic attacks so that this god really dies?

Qin's passive damage graph for 2950 HP target
Sais does more damage during the last 1317 HP.

Blades and Sais does near the same. Blades have the focus on sustain damage - Sais on finishing gods.
If you do damage on full HP gods most of the time => use Blades.
If you attack already damaged gods most of the time and/or you do inital burst damage via abilities => Sais is the better option.
