Especially if you place your jump just right, thats better than a Sobek hook.
Just had an enemy Sobek save my sorry escapeless butt yesterday. Was in the middle of an Anubis and a Freya and thought I'm so dead. Then Sobek misses the Wukong coming to my rescue and hits me instead!

Half the Anhurs that play arena and even conquest use impale on a low hp opponent and actually HELP them get away... and I always think wow thanks Anhur you are smart!

This ain't a troll thing, well it is for the person you do it on but its actually a good tactic if you can't get stuns off.

If my team is near I will jump behind someone and impale them back into my team mates.
Most Anhurs will never even do this in a match, I don't even think I seen a Anhur do it yet thats how much I never see that tactic used.

I think some of the good Anhur players also know the trap with his pillar. Which is to stun someone, place your pillar a certain way next to the wall you stun them on, then get up behind them so they can't move anywhere :D

A fun fact about icen that you can only know by being around for a very long time is that icen before he got hooked on herc played nothing but anhur for a very long time.

never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.

Just finished an Anhur game in arena. Went 17/1/18. First time playing him since that ill-fated conquest match where i had to mid vs an Ao.

I rarely see any ADC anymore in conquest. At most it will be Neith or Xbal. But besides that, nothing.

No Anhur, Apollo, Cupid, or Artemis.

I haven't seen a single Neith in Conquest in ages. Maybe it's from the weird matchmaking problems lately, but it's always been Artemis, Cupid, or Apollo.

Edit: Checked match histories, and only time I saw anything else was Neith in an Arena match.

Funny. I've been matched with a lot of Artemis, Xbalanques and Cupids. I don't see Anhur, Apollo and Neith for ages( the ''viable'' ones).
