Yes, ARAM is a bit broken. In my opinion, if a team has hel and other team has no support, hel's team will win. I like ARAM because if I play poorly, I can't really be blamed :D

I think Assault should be fixed bringing at least, one Tank and one god with heals for both teams. Mages and AD Carries would be randomly generated.

But there's a logic: Assault is supposed to be random. It's okay your team has no tanks, I won an assault match without a tank( and the enemies' had 2 Tanks), but to have a or in the enemies' and yours don't, change the course of the game.

HiRez probably will keep assault as it is right now, though.

I was thinking of something along those lines, yes. Where each team gets Gods of certain roles. But even then with the game in the state of unbalance that it's in even then a team could be superior.

No seriously I love assault because it is the ultimate "Idontcareijustwanttohavesomefunmode"
You can't get mad at someone or your self in assault for doing poorly, 90% of the time because they/you got a god have no idea how to use or just get racked by randomness or bad match ups.

I personally think they should ban the three big healing gods that I mentioned above. They are so powerful in Assault to the point where its almost impossible to win if the enemy team got on or two and you got none.

And Hi-rez when it comes to the god select, please don't count Bruisers as tanks and for the love of the gods make it so that you can only get a maximum and minimum of one tank per team.

Well, I just got hel and ra in my assault game :D BUT we nearly lost (really) fighting strong Isis and Anubis :( thanks to my Poseidon, we won :D so, it's just up to the goodness of the player playing that support, but still they are too strong. I agree with all4games
