Y'know, if you're into that...

Anyhow, the fact that they portrayed her with broken English and wearing high heels killed any notion of her being "intelligent and commanding" for me.

Edit: I'm aware that she's a Greek/Roman goddess, but every other foreign god has perfect English. Yet they picked her to be unable to speak properly?

Also, her armor is a tease, whether or not she stands upright - I don't see what's so different about the card.

you have obviously not met me in real life. that i type in caps doesn't mean i get that angry to the point where you need to pump tranks into me just to get me to calm down.

there are a lot more oversexuallisation in this game but you got complain about this.
look the the left of your screan. there is an almost fully naked blue chick right there.
go look at freya, bastet, aprodite, isis and neith. they are a lot more sexuall even in game.

and you complain about a card. that is what blows my mind.
never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.

I can't understand all the fuzz about this , it's just a card of a fictional person in a video game in a loading screen that takes usually less than 5-10 seconds , it's not someone or something you own and you would have the right to be angry about if somebody takes him/it and/or changes something about him/it .

I think Athena looks just a bit more sensual with the new card (didn't even noticed it until I saw this thread and I started a practice match with Athena just to see the "offending" card) .

Besides , if Athena looks like a stripper what does Neith or Kali look like ? I understand that she is the goddess of wisdom and she should look wise or whatever ,but I also understand that devs are looking to attract even more players to the game and since most of the gamers are 12-16 yo little boys ,what better way to bring new players than to have a lot of sexy playable female characters .

Just saying ...

Seriously now , it's just a card , it's not like they changed her whole outfit to something worst in the game itself or gave her a nerf .I'd rather have my favorite god(s) in a horrible suit/outfit rather than have them given a nerf .

No one has said this is the end of the world. I don't even think it's that bad. I'm just miffed they ditched the little seriousness she had and went with the typical teenage fantasy instead of something more fitting.

I agree that it's hard to understand why people get so bent out of shape over the card change, All4Games. However, I also find it hard to understand why you got bent out of shape over people getting bent out of shape over it. It's not necessarily the capslock that makes me think you're raging, but the fact that you explicitly state that you're raging or are pissed off in threads all the time.
