Pos needs a slightly larger delay on his ult because that thing is way too easy to aim and deals ridiculous damage along with 2 second stun. If they nerfed either of the two, I'd be fine with it. But this is minor compared to his whirlpool.

And his whirlpools are absurd. Cripple and a pull, and the first two non-shoes items any Pos gets is a Gem of Isolation and a Spear of the Magus. It's like a vastly superior version of Grasping Hands, and it's always annoying to see abilities that are just straight upgrades of another.

I can sum this up in one sentence: If Pos is the new "noob" mage, then why is he played (and banned) so often in ranked?

Agni's biggest problem seems to be his ultimate in conjunction with his Noxious Fumes. He doesn't even have to aim when he could just place a cloud of gas right under his meteor, which makes an undodgeable stun.

Why, HiRez, why? Why make an undodgeable stun? Why give Agni something that is absent from literally every other god in the game? Why make Aegis useless on him? Why give him the fastest dash in the game? Why give him the only escape for a mage? Did the CEO of HiRez name his favorite child Agni?

Eh, just make him unable to cast anything until the meteor lands. No more "master one basic technique to kill everything without even needing to aim."

Their bursty mages. But their also so easy to kill. Agni is the only mage I can think of that has an escape.

Agreed, unless you count Chronos's ult as an escape

But they do need a nerf. In competitive play, ESPECIALLY tournements (Dignitas, Cognitive, and Denial especially), they will almost 100% of the time pick or ban poseidon and agni. The problem with them is
>They're safe. Both have very long range harass, and multiple ways to escape (Dash/Stun, Knockback/Cripple+Slow/Speed Boost)
>They're farmers. Flame Wave and Tidal Surge basically results in a minion wave gone.
>They have reliable CC. Agni ult into a noxious fumes is almost a guaranteed stun, and poseidon, even if he misses the wave, will not miss a whirlpool, and is very uncommon to completely whiff a kraken
>They have two of the highest on-demand bursts in the game, while STILL being safe. Anubis has to set up a mummify, then completely immobilize himself while he casts. Poseidon and Agni both just fire on the run in a very easy to hit, immediate ult, that does loads of damage.
>Finally, they're mobile. This ties in with their safeness, but it makes initiating, escaping, roaming, ganking, and rotating all incredibly easy. No other mage does this as easily, save Chronos, who has an entirely different role as a Duelist.

They need some kind of utility/ease of damage nerf, not a direct numbers nerf. Reducing damage isn't going to fix what makes them good.

Everytime they nerf pos i giggle of pure happieses. Yadiyadiyada ihatepos blablabla. Either way both need a nerf. The fumes if agni need to me a bit less big and not do damage to gods but do need to get some debuff for standing in them that last for 2 seconds. Maybe let his ult cost mana but not a whole lot. Just enough that he pays for super poking you.

Pos needs a lot bigger nerf. Take the cripple, keep the vortex and buff the vortex by 1 add a bit of damage and make it so that gem of **** you does not apply on his 3.

Give his fish a bit more delay but make it's slow a tiny bit bigger so that you have a bit of reaction time for aegis or beads. Take a tiny bit of his ult damage off.

Add more speed to his 1 so that it can be come a bit more pokey.
Less Movement through 2 + passive.
never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.

make fumes take half a second after being cast before they're able to ignite.

bam, no more obnoxious using meteor then fumes for guaranteed stun/massive damage. you have to actually set that **** up ahead of time now.

I think a short CD ult with no mana cost is kind of OP. The stun thing is... ridiculous given his burst. Not to mention i can just freeze a lane, poke him with a passive enhanced ult every 20 seconds, then either burst him or run him off to take his tower and burst down the jungler that comes to try and stop me.

Poseidon, i will abstain from commenting on, save either remove the cripple or keep it and make the damage about like agnis 1. Whichever works.

Also, as it seems to have been forgotten, don't forget that their passives are pretty f-ing good too. Pos can increase the damage of anything by 1.5X, and Agni has a DoT which is total BS given how much burst he already. Also, I find it funny that 2 of the worst concerns for these gods are moves that don't even make sense for their lore:
The Kraken wasn't even Greek from what I remember, so why the hell does pos have it, and why does the god of Purifying Fire have a frickin' Gas Cloud? Change those and they'd be sooo much better, and fit better with their lore.

At least pos ult I can aegis, its pretty dumb to waste aegis on agni though because he will still have 2 more ults lolol.

I don't think there is a real way to fix agni's undodgable ult stun but I guess thats what makes him agni.

Agni still takes skill but his ult really is kind of almost impossible to dodge with his fumes unless you have super fast dash.

What if on Agnis ult they changed it so that it cost a low amount of mana, but gradually increased in mana as you used it. Kinda like Kassadins ult or Kog'maw's ult.

Ooooh, that is a good idea... Maybe... 20 doubled every time? 20+40+80=140 which is bout right for full burst (right? if not 15(+30+60=105))
