It sounds cynical when people r not giving attention to my words bt trying to make false judgements on wat might be cooking in my head as a hidden cunning intent..

I never mean to say there r only these 3 categories of players, was just a build up to explain myself. Casual players can be amongst any 3 more likely 1 and 2.

Serious players even if casual weekend players can easily compete with the experts only if they get a chance

I think you're misinterpreting them though. Don't worry about it. ;)

But what exactly is the idea you're trying to raise? That serious players can't play vs expert players? (or, to ease the logic. Good players can't play vs really good players)?
I'm trying to get on the same page.
That's just my 2 cents.

My idea in simple words is this: taking my case as a regular serious player for past one yr:

1. Watever i have performed in normal mode so far nd going to perform in future , it has a total disconnect from the tier system. Why?

2. To get in the tier system and move up i need to win league games, fair enough, but only if i get to play leagues..the league queues r horrible.

3. tier system must apply to performances of all level 30 and 14 master players and above, whether they play league or not. unless getting a game on league is as easy as getting a game in normal mode.

I usually play solo no parties

Gotcha.

I believe this is an idea born on the fact you're having trouble finding league games, right?

But it won't work - or it won't benefit you like you hope it will.

Conquest Casual (let's call it CC as opposed to Conquest Ranked being CR).
CC is built with a casual, relaxing game in mind. People still play to win, but they don't sweat themself. It's also the only place to play with friends, try out funky builds or other unusual stuff. You don't want this to transfer over to your ELO. Your professional smite status.

This also wouldn't work due to the current matchmaking. CC has less strict matchmaking than CR meaning you can get queue'd up with and against bad players - this results in wonky ELO rewards.

The reason you want CR and CC to be completely disconnected is so you are ONLY professionaly measured when the situation is as balanced as can be. Only when both teams are set to win and are prepared to play their best with the best gods can your ELO more concretely represent your SMITE skills. CC more than often does not carry this mindset, whereas CR does.

I think that the only reason you want CC to go hand-in-hand with your ranked ELO is because CR doesn't have alot of popularity at the moment. (Long queue's). And I completely agree your frustration, and I would probably be as frustrated if I still had my level 30 account.

But keep in mind that this game is in BETA and it is bound to grow. Patience is a virtue.
That's just my 2 cents.

I'm lazy so I did not read all the comments, but I saw ppl comparing Hi Rez with Riot.

And yes Riot does a better job than Hi Rez on the most part, but you have to take the fact that Riot have been at this for a long time compared to Hi Rez and Riot is vastly wealthy compared to Hi Rez (more workers = better content etc etc).

So all things considered I think Hi Rez is doing an insane job with what they have, and there is no doubt in my mind that this company is going to expand and that Smite is going to get bigger.

Just take the Tencent partnership, more money = more workers = more/better content.

Smite isn't the best company, but they're certainly not the worst.

Being a gaming company, especially one developing a game such as this, they're going to get **** from players based on their decisions they make for the game. Certain things I let slide without complaining/ranting about, such as a new god being OP when they first come out, as that is something that's to be expected. But other things, I will express my dislike/disagreement about. Hi-Rez, for the most part, does a great job for the small company they are, but they definitely don't always make the wisest decisions.

However, I do like that Hi-Rez is involved with the community as much as they are with all the streams, videos, Reddit posts, etc. From my experience, Hi-Rez has been the best at interacting with the community that I've seen from any company I've played games from.

I may be critical about Hi-Rez at times, but I do respect them as a gaming company and do appreciate the effort they put in this game.
