I dont see any builds yet so I was curious if anyone knows.

I tried arena with him and got 12/1 not bad.

But then I went Mercury and got 21/1...way better. lol

I realize he's not an assassin but I'm curious if there's a specifically good build for him for damage?

eye of retaliation, Malice and Deathbringer are about all the core damage items you need, I run Ninja Tabi and either focused voidblade/ Voidblade or Runic Shield (or both if their team is balanced). After that i run Magi's blessing if they are CC heavy, or have an Ares, Hide of Leviathan, or Bulwark of Hope if they are Mage heavy, or Breastplate of Valor or Hide of the Nemean Lion if they are Physical heavy.

With the first 3 your damage skyrockets at half HP or less, 90% chance of doing 250% damage at level 20. Boots can be either, but I prefer to have my CC up as often as possible. Then tanky. Not in this order of course but that is most of it.

Eye of Retaliation is a very iffy item. It provides only damage and lifesteal, which bruisers don't explicitly need. The pure damage doesn't help give miscellaneous stats that could really help.

I'd prefer the following:
Warrior Tabi - Penetration, You don't need CDR because I'm including Hydra's (He has high base damage and it just got buffed)
Ascendence - Get it early to get the 10 minutes' worth of stacks. It goes well with the next item.
Jotunn's Wrath - CD on a bruiser is glorious. Oh yeah, and penetration. And damage. And mana. Ohyes
Focused Voidblade - Because Damage and Physical Protection is just the bee's knees.
Hydra's Lament - 175% Base Damage is pretty damn nice. CDR is also very very nice. The new version isn't as good, see the link at the bottom for math done by BestMinionEver
Soul Eater if you have a lot of Phys on your team, Qin's Blades if not. The health shred can really help take down tanks.
This finishes the build, giving decent damage items, attack speed, CDR, mana, and scaling.

Alternatives:
Frostbound Hammer - health, slow, 100% helps you stick to targets following your transformations.
Runic Shield - wouldn't suggest unless they have 4+ magic users, because I don't like how little of everything it gives. If it's 4-5 magic users though, it can be worth it.
Magi's Blessing - instant full CC reduction cap, plus an immunity to a CC spell. This could mean life or death if they have a SUPER good engage, such as a Chang'E ult or a Neith arrow.
Titan's Bane - if they have people stacking physical protection, and if you're a caster Wukong over an auto attacker
Witch Stone - if they have a LOT of auto attack, physical carries. If they have a team with, say, a Chronos, a Carry, and an Assassin, it's definitely a good pickup.
