shell is the more popular pick you will see it sometimes, however that will mostly be to counter execute ults like Thanatos ult. Shell does the exact same with a stronger effect and when upgraded gives 2 stacks of block (which mitigated 2 AA) instead of increased mana regen which you don't need anymore late game.

Hi CafPow, welcome to SmiteFire

Answering your question above:

1) First of all, which role did you pick? If it was mid, I'm sorry but it's extremely normal a Hel Mid feed the enemy. You must know that Hel is mid to late game god but she it EXTREMELY weak early game. All the enemy may do is apply some pressure early game on you and boom, you're dead. Believe or not, hel is a stronger Solo laner than Mid, but even in solo you must take care of yourself early game.

2) You got an Agni, known for his high early pressure doing just what I said above.

3) You may got a smurf guy too (someone who plays in a new account but isn't new in the game). So he probably know how to counter you and you as new player didn't even know what was happening.

What you may do in these situations? Try to farm safe (not only on your lane but around it, in the jungle) and avoid fight alone in the lane or stay near/facing your opponent.

That's my tips for you!

1) yeah i was a Midlaner in this Game. Sometimes i already had issues, sometimes it went great. I'll try out Sololane a few times to see how it works out.

2) / 3) exactly that happened.
i tried to farm safe, he ignored that lol. Okay, more jungle is an option.
The Team tried to help me but we got screwed anyway. In the End, they where all on lvl 15+ and we where at level 8-10 so clearly, we got slain. I was just the "worst case". :(

Quickly switching the Stance and Healing a little bit, then switching Back to continue Damaging is something, i consider to be really easy.

Switching stances with her isn't difficult. She's considered "hard" because she has a high skill cap, and requires good aim with skillshots and fast reaction times, as well has knowing when to utilise her CC cleanse and her lack of escape in her kit. She also doesen't have a single Hard CC ability in her kit.

I have two Issues that make my life hard, first is my Aim. I miss my 1-Skill sometimes, but it gets better with Training.

Try using quick cast (on console) or instant cast (PC). If you're on console raise your sensitivity a bit, but on PC the default is fine. Set Ground Targeter to ON. Also perhaps use the "X" or "O" Reticule for the crosshairs.

The same Thing is my Gameplay, which is sometimes to agressive. Since i play more defensively, it already went better for me.

Playing aggressive isn't always a bad thing, you just need to know when and when not to.

CafPow wrote:

Everyone's like "Hel is so Hard", but i don't really get the Hard Point.

That's just what the in game suggestion says, sometimes it's roughly accurate, other times, not really.

I really want to improve my Skills and Gameplay, so People would enjoy to have me in their Team. I don't want to be "the Best ever"... but i want to be considered a Win for the Team. And i have the Impression that i miss something that isn't really mentioned in those two Guides.

That's because they're not enough. You can't just rely on 2 guides and expect to be perfect. A lot of knowledge will be learned from practice from trial and error, as well as learning other god's kits, so you know how to fight against them, whats their strength's and weaknesses etc...

Purification Beads and Aegis Amulet should always be built if you're playing Hel in mid lane.

If you play her in support or solo then you can consider Magic Shell.

Also, back to the MP5, hel lacks mana a lot. Try to save your abilities in the early game. Clear with Decay / Restoration and save Repulse / Inspire.

At level 1 you can get Repulse / Inspire for stronger level 1 clear and allowing you to heal the minion wave.

I would recommend to learn early game mana management quickly so you can drop meditation cloak (the biggest noob trap relic in the game) it's only a relic you want to have when playing assault. A lot of the other relics are better options in the other modes.

Meditation Cloak is fine for Joust, at least as a tank pickup only. It's best used in a double tank comp, where you can get 2.

I always train the Gods in the Jungle-Camp, then i do Arena and Conquest against KI, and when i feel safe i go Arena against Real Enemies, until i finally dare to join Conquest. It takes Time tho. But i consider this the Fun part of the Game. ^^

Don't play against AI-bots, it leads to bad habits, and just makes it harder to deal with real opponents.
