To be fair, they are a small company, and were even smaller back then, and neither game was making them a great amount of money. MOBAs are still a pretty big craze in the free-to-play PC gaming community, so I guess they figured a MOBA would actually make them a decent amount of money, and it has, so that paid off.

I didn't play Tribes, and I only played a little bit of GA, but it would be nice to see them actually go back and pick up with those games again. Though, considering the issues with Smite these days, I don't know about that.

I see, if they will only focus on the issues and balancing. Their company might rise and who knows? They might make another game that will pay off if they did well with their job on smite.

They really had good programs there to make their company better and healthy.

Hi-Rez has great ideas. I mean, a MOBA where you play as ancient gods from all sorts of different parts of the world is a pretty cool idea. And to make it 3rd person, it's bound to be a cash cow.

But Hi-Rez did everything wrong. The only thing they have going for them at this point is good visuals.

have you ever played some other moba's as far as I know when you get killed by the tower/minions and a player had hit you in an certain time span they get credit for the kill.

This is that way in dota and in LoL (when I last played them)

I mean, just look at any other game with costumes/skins. Most of the time, they're not designed to look too serious.

There's just as many, if not more sexualized male gods than there are female gods in Smite.

HiRez doesn't really think out most of their decisions through, as evidenced by *countless* things they've done in the past to aggravate the playerbase. I had written down a two-page list of that stuff, but accidentally deleted it when I clicked on a link here, and I'm too lazy to bother writing it all up again, so I'm just going to leave it at that. Really, it just came down to one too many straws breaking this camel's back.

Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.

It's not Hirez's fault. It's Tencent. They DEMANDED Nu Wa be changed, cause they didnt ****ing "recoginze" her. Hirez says that Tencent isn't doing anything, we all know that Tencent is controlling our Hirez....:(
