I assume they're viruses (never clicked on a link) and was curious about them.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend clicking the links. It's a bot(s) that Mowen said they're working on getting blacklisted, but until then, all the administrators and moderators can do is delete them when they pop up.

I'm actually going to go ahead and see if we can get a sticky posted on these shenanigans and the recommendation to not click the links.


Update: looks like they're working on getting them blacklisted today. :D

What do you mean? Sasquatch is a helpful guy around here, and he was only asking about the kitchen bots, not promoting them.

I was a forum admin for a minecraft server, and we had these same kitchen advertisements. Best thing to do is just delete the posts.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
