Alright, I have been playing smite for a month now, and up until about a week ago I used default items. But I realized the potential that putting my own item build together offers. But I am fairly new to this whole item concept. So can I have some feedback/suggestions on my Mercury item build?

1.Frostbound hammer
2.Bloodforge
3.Rage
4.Malice
5.Asi

1) Replace Frostbound with Fatalis. Same effect, more or less, but actually helps with damage and overall, it's a greater speed swap.

2) Decent. I'd go for Asi for the Attack Speed but it's fine.

3) Rage is meh now. Go for Malice only. Replace with Deathbringer

4) Decent.

5) Fine. Only need 1 lifesteal item though, don't get Bloodforge.

This leaves you with Fatalis, Asi, Malice, and Deathbringer, plus Boots. Finish off with a nice Qin's Sais for that extra umph to your auto attacks, or Executioner. Remember, your Made You Look applies on hit effects, so those Sais will do % health as well, or that Executioner will pre-apply the protections debuff before you attack.

I think that'll do. Take Sprint rank 3 as an active, as well as a situational Blink, Beads, or Aegis.

My merc build:

Warrior Tabi --> Rage --> Bloodforge/Magi's Blessing --> Deathbringer --> Titan's Bane

When I jungle I start with Sprint (rank 1), Death's Toll and 400g pot.

You can go with Hand of The Gods, but Sprint is a lot better! (if you are starting right lane, just do the baby harpies instead of Red).

And you want to max Sprint about the same time you get rank 3 Warrior Tabi. You get Magi's Blessing if you need protections from CC, if you do not you can get Malice or Hide of the Urchkin ;)

It might be better to get Malice over Rage in the long run, but Rage is a lot better early game and I have not been able to get to late game with Malice yet :(

Ah what no Frostbound Hammer? I love that item when using Mercury. Especially since it was in your guide :)

SmiteFire & Smite
