OK, it's not instant, but it's so close that it makes no difference.

If you are facing enemy players who can react to Merc's ult, then you will lose, no matter what god you pick.

So, option D.

I think its fine, I mean its almost impossible to react to so stunning him during it pretty much comes down to pure luck (or being amazing at predicting).

Well it's pretty easy to predict since he claps and starts
Glowing.

And yes i have been subbed to matpat since like his 5th episode.

I do like that: The clap says "he is charging up his dash!" and the glow says "His dash is ready!". But what I'm talking about is that you never know exactly when he is going to dash since he can activate it when ever he wants and you have to have super human reflexes to react to the actual dash.

You can also interrupt the charge with any CC, forcing him to re-charge if he wants to go more the 5 inches. Cripple also prevents him from dashing.

Agree, that's what makes it balanced for me. You can react preventatively (see a Mercury charging up, you separate your group) but it has a sort of built-in CC immunity by being nearly impossible to react to, compared to being proactive. Which, in my opinion, is fine.

If you mean giving him immunity while charging you are insane. "I dont want to use my ult yet but why don't i just clap and sit through an ares ult." As for during the dash I don't think its possible to react to that given natural lag and such, and if you get caught in a Ymir breath he deserves it.
