This is a question that I've been pondering for a while, and even made a topic before on the official forums (sadly that devolved into dmBrandon and some other guy having a pissing contest, and after the mod cleaned it up didn't receive much attention), and decided I should make a topic here to hear your opinions (also this people here are nicer.)

So my question is: Do you believe crits are too powerful as they are now?

I'm of the mind that they are and could stand to be reduced a bit.

I accidentally voted no, but I meant to press "Yes"

They are powerful, i've had crits for 1500 on Ne Zha.
But on the otherhand, there are magic characters who can ditch out the same ammount of damage a high crit character can do, like He Bo, who can pretty much 2 shot you.

So if they reduce crits, I would prefer it if they reduced all damage together.

I don't think it'scrits that are the problem, but the gods. Stupid modifiers like Merc's and ability-based crits like Ne Zha's entire kit make them overpowered.

This. Crits have the same mechanics in every games, it's not the Crits that's the problem.

Nah, it's not op, especially crits in smite still need skillshot, the only change that i could think of is removing power from ragw but give it a bit more crit chance and attack speed

Deathbringer and Rage are op, in my point of view, but Malice is so-so and Golden dagger is pretty much ****. I think that Deathbringer and Rage should be reduced a bit, but Malice and Golden dagger need to changed. I would like there to be a crit cap, like there is in every other stat. You can only have so much Magical Defence, so why not limit the maximum crit chance to 60, excluding rage stacks.

then its your fault for standing in the only basic attack that can possible reach that being nezha's final hit on swing chain.

the hights possible hit from any pysical god is from vamana and odin with all there buffs hitting 1000 barely.
never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.

The thing is that the only way that physical gods get enough damage to be relevant is getting crots, if there were more items that gave you good damage that would be fine to.
