As for the skin in question, I like it because of the skill changes. They look pretty cool with all of the colors, and I like the little fireworks that shoot out on his basic attacks. I've seen plenty of people stating that they're not American, but like the skin for the same reason. If you don't like it, that's fine, but if you feel the skin is a poke to your eye, then I find that to be quite sad for you. And if you also feel this skin is saying "We're number one no matter what anyone says", you're reading way too much into something that's not even there in some goofy skin.


Dunno if you noticed, but I was being sarcastic. But yeah, I totally agree with your post. These skins are usually made to appeal to a specific demographic. Don't celebrate Christmas? Don't buy the Christmas skin. Not American? Don't buy Ra'Merica, etc. etc.

Actually not sure, dunno if PTS are up yet either. I'm guessing it will officially be out by the end of June

I'm European and I'm going too buy the Ra'merica skin as soon as it comes out. Ra is one of my favorite mages and even though he has a lot of skins, I don't really like any of them. I think that Solar Sentinel looks ugly, Silver-Ra-Do and Solar Eclipse is meh compared to some other recolors. I do use his Alienware skin, but only because it makes his abilities blue.

A lot of people say that Ra'merica is a bit random (but still awesome) skin, I used to agree but then I remember that 4th of July is only 1.5 week away.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
