Yeah but guys

RIP Polynomicon

the new Ancile item looks sick though. Talking about 50 Physical Power, 60 Magic Protection, and 15% CDR. That's damn nice.

No idea who you're agreeing with. I don't know about Scylla still being OP. Having to be baby-sat all the time will really suck. Scylla's worse enemy is unpredictable movement, and this patch will only make it worse. I see her falling off quite a bit. We will see.

Zeus should have been buffed so that every charge applies a 10% slow when detonated, so it'll be 10%/20%/30%. That seems better.

The Bacchus buff is welcome, but I think they could've reduced the cost of Chug even more. A total decrease of about 30 isn't that impressive. That ability still costs ~140 mana, which is too much. I'd reduce it to ~120 at max rank. But it's a step in the right direction.

Scylla nerf is good, but I don't think it's the right one. Reduce the scaling and slightly increasing the base damage of her Crush and perhaps sic'em is needed, but the nerfs they made are also quite mandatory.

I don't know how I feel about the Fenrir buff. We all know that he has to get defensive items or he dies in an instant, unless he just waits for the team fight to be almost over to clean up. I don't really think damage is his problem as his survivability is. So, why not give him a protection buff on Seething Howl instead of lifesteal? it fits his kit way, way better, as he isn't much of an auto attacker, and also, he gets doubled protections while in Ragnarok at full runes. A 10/20/30/40/50 protection buff seems really suited, and don't forget he can get up to 50% more at full runes. So a 75 protection buff is what he needs, as we all know he transitions into a bruiser late game.

I actually like the Polynomicon nerf. It's basically another spell that deals massive instant burst. It allows almost all Mages to 100-0 someone with ease even with their ultimates. Scylla, Ao Kuang, Zeus, Freya (although she can 100-0 anyone in 2 seconds), and more. Just think of Chang'e, and how her poly procs were damaging as much as her ultimate, more or less.
My only problem is gods that rely on Polynomicon and aren't really powerful without it, mainly Nu Wa, but also Chronos slightly. Nu Wa is taking a really big hit, and I think it's time for them to give her a little buff. Chronos will be okay, but it's still indirect nerf to him. Freya is gonna do just fine, no one dare say she is useless/underpowered now, or else I will pull your inside out.

strong. 60 magical protection, 50 physical power and 15% CDR? All this item doesn't have is penetration, but, comon. All bruisers are getting a huge buff for the solo lane against Mages.

Nothing much to say about the ***bahkaran nerf, it was obvious to come...

The Golden Bow price reduction is a joke. We all know that the problem is not the cost, even if you make it a farming item, because you'd be better off with the extra power from Devourer's Gauntlet as Artemis rather than the splash damage from Golden Bow to help you farm.

Still no Vulcan passive, Arachne still doesn't exist, No Hercules nerf, no Xbalanque/Cupid buffs, no Hades rework, no Ares buff...
Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting them to do all of that in one patch and to instantly fix all of those problems, but ******** it, these problems (at least most of them) have been around for freaking MONTHS and they don't seem to fix / regard them at all.


Overall, this patch is good, but Ancile seems way too powerful, the buff to Fenrir wasn't the right one, and there are many serious subjects they still ignore. I'd give it a 6/10

Poly nerf, so lame. I was kind of expecting a downgrade (a lot of crybabies in game complaining about mages burst with no Aegis Amulet bought of course) to MAYBE 75%, but 50%?

So much for chromos' and Nu Wa's burst. I really don't understand these changes, what was so overpowered about that item that it needed a nerf... twice. It really baffles my mind.

Poly deserved a nerf. It wasn't as a slight burst bonus as it was an extra freaking 1/3 of someone's HP. It was too much.

But, I do think it needs a mechanical change. Instead of having a 4s cooldown and applying to the first auto attack hit (meaning you can miss a bunch of attacks and still have the poly proc on the first that hits), why not give it a 2s cooldown and to apply to the first auto attack? That way it rewards players for putting more skills and efforts to their ability usage and can yield better results if played right.

IMO, Poly wasn't the problem. It was the several billion mages who kept getting extra MP, like Ao Kuang, Scylla, Hel, He Bo, etc, that made Poly broken. Now Poly will be useless on 90% of gods except for those, which it will still be decent.

They did fix the problem, but in the entirely wrong way, and in a way that completely ruined it for everyone else. Typical HiRez.

And remember, Chronos and Nu Wa don't exist. All of those gods that you want to be buffed? They don't exist. HiRez won't do **** about them except make a new god with a suspiciously similar kit patching their weaknesses.

Here are the REAL list of gods: Agni, AMC, Apollo, Athena, Bacchus, Bakasura, Bastet, Chaac, Geb, He Bo, Hercules, Hun Batz, Isis, Janus, Kali, Khumba, Merc, Neith, Ne Zha, Nemesis, Osiris, Poseidon, Ra, Rama, Scylla, Sobek, Wukong, Thanatos, Thor, Tyr, Ullr, Vulcan, Ymir.

Everyone else? Forget about them being nerfed or buffed or changed or whatever. They've fallen off of HiRez's radar. When in doubt, stick your thumbs up your ears and hope it'll go away. That's their classic business strategy all the way from the days of Tribes - heck, they completely abandoned Tribes, too.

Maybe they're change a little bit. They'll do something like making a skill able to hit Arachne's eggs, or maybe give some a SWING CHAIN OMG! Or maybe a new skin, or a pretty visual rework. No real change.

There are 55 gods in the game right now. The ones above are the ones that are considered "viable." 32 out of 55, minus 7 bans in ranked, and you can only play 25/55 gods in ranked without gimping yourself.

You can literally only play <50% of the gods in this game if you're going full tryhard. I'm sure if you have enough skill, you can still win with other gods, but you're still gimping yourself and matchmaking is still a POS.

Dam what the heck Hirez is thinking?, that Ancile will probably break the game, and a lot of complaints on Polynomicon.

The Fenrir buff seems unnecessarry, they buff his sustain. There was a time i fought a Fenrir with Artemis on a battle of sustain (AKA lifesteal showdown) i won the battle with Transgressors Fate and Bloodforge, in this upcoming patch, i won't win anymore on sustain battle against this buffed Fenrir unless i have Bloodforge and Brawler's Beat Stick.
