my suggestion is that, For surredering, they get less xp/favor/worshipper than not surrendering of if not surrendering give bonus a bit

That would make sense. Our combo is a jungler/solo combo, so while I am 2v1ing a lane Snub is in and out of every lane. I can see how a jungler could deem the map as "theirs".

I'm referring to the jungler's role in general. Junglers are supposed to control the map by being potentially hidden anywhere in between the lanes for surprise attacks. Initially, that control is often contested by another jungler who roams the half of the jungle opposite of your team, but if your jungler has a distinct lead over your opponent's (or the enemy team has no jungler), then you pretty much control the rest of the jungle as well. This in turn leads to your team controlling the map through being able to show up behind enemies anywhere with ease.

Map control is a huge factor in determining games, and if one team is able to effectively control most of the map through constant ganks and secure objectives with little resistance, it's very difficult for the team lacking map control to come back out of it.
Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.

I got that. Thank you Ed :P

I wouldn't say that the surrendering team should get less exp/favor/worshippers, because they technically do anyway. There isn't much that can be done, really. If the non-surrendering team got a bonus, that would be great, but I doubt that would ever come to be.

Why should people not be allowed to surrender, if it's voted for on the other team then it should go.

Your logic of "I want to keep playing this game where I'm doing well" is silly. Would you like to keep playing if you're getting **** on? No.

Even if they do make the winning team of a surrender'd fight get more favor/exp/worshipers, it might help and it might not.
On the one end you can assume that they will surrender and back off abit, stalling.
On the other end you can charge up as normally, knowing they will want to surrender eventually
but they wont do it so you wont get the bonus gold and that gives them a chance to make a comeback hehe.
Either way winners get more, obviously.
And btw, I hate it when my team takes a vote of surrendering in the 10 mins regen caouse it makes them even more depressed and assuming we wont surrender (3 to 2) then they will play even worse just get the time passing before they can vote again.
Worse scenario: they know that if they'll surrender then the winning team will get less kills in their profile and less exp/favor/worshipers so they will surrender deliberately when things gets ABIT tough.

Hope you're not talking to me. People getting shat on is one thing entirely, and in the case of, say, 5k gold advantage, 5 towers down, and a 21/4 team kill ratio, then yes, a surrender is entirely possible.

What is not acceptable, however, is when a team surrenders right at 10, when they are maybe 1-2k gold behind. The thing that most people worry about is this: "Oh no, they have more kills, we can't possibly win!" The team can have more kills, but ultimately there are far more important statistics that decide whether the team has the advantage.

And that is exactly why I think the idea wouldn't work. Very unfortunate.

I played 3 matches yesterday, all 3 surrendered at 15 minutes. I think the problem is game balance, snowballs are occurring too easily. Also, matchmaking isn't giving as fair of matches it seems. Always one sided.

Simplest way to fix this problem is to do worse.
Stop playing so good.

Bad good player, bad!

It's a bit of a touchy subject. I myself have had 5 experiences in the past couple of months where not surrendering has lead to me doing really well, but we still didn't win. It's pretty boring if you're doing awful but others on your team get fed, as you end up staring at your team do better than you. I do think that an early surrender should give the so to speak "victorious" team a boost to favour and ESPECIALLY worships.
