Hey guys,

I was just curious if anyone is like me in this matter.

When a new god comes out, my Smite buddy obsesses with them. For the next week, that's all he'll play.

I, on the other hand, still play original gods. . . .

I don't get caught up with the new god.

What do you guys think? I'm curious what Smitefire says.

My mains: Isis, Bastet, Hel, Aphrodite, Ra, Anubis. Go figure :P Especially the newest ones like ***ba/Osiris didnt appeal to me at all.

Well, I haven't been able to play them since, no PC, but when new gods did come out and I was playing, I just waited a week or so before really playing the new god. I like my winning percentage, so I'll play the god if I like him or not.

Why isn't there a poll option for "unbiased", because I play who I want, lol. I'll go from Ra to Scylla to Ullr to Kali to Loki to Nemesis to Poseidon...it doesn't matter to me

I only play the most overpowered broken gods in the game. I'll never play league because they ban them to much and I won't be able to do well at all if I can't use them.

Just kidding. xD

I play whatever I want. I could care less when they were released. :P

I don't bother playing with new gods that come out until after they're chucked through the patch process a few times. I don't like playing new gods, get attached to them and love them, only to have them nerfed to uselessness.

However, I wouldn't say I stick to the originals when new gods come out. While Loki was my first god to reach mastery 10, I focus on Ah Muzen Cab, Freya, and Bakasura until new gods have been sufficiently nerfed enough to safely play.

I play whatever, but I never spam play the current new god, unless it's in practice matches to get a feel for them. So, it's kind of a mix in that, yes, I like playing the new god to field test them, but no, I don't obsess over them. I just play whatever I enjoy.
