@penta that meme speaks truth but a lot are in online games, both statements are facts and one does not excuse the other.

@ferrum. im tired of the excuse "well moba player bases are filled with toxic people since ever and always will be" its a dumb excuse because it would include every moba, moba's do not directly atract toxicity and moba's do not spawn toxicity.

lets go look at the excuse through history. moba's start at dota 1, a mod map in the game warcraft 3 which would lead to logic saying warcraft 3 atracts/spawns toxicity. did it? i dont know i didnt play it and i know little about warcraft 3 but the point still stands. we have no idea where toxicity came from. i believe its simply from bad people.

a pc moba i play daily that i can not find toxicity in on a daily bases: dawngate, i actually did have some toxic encounters in that game, 2 nights ago actually, with a person who's name was onlyjungleleesin... not someone from dawngate, just a random lol player who would be toxic anyway.

its not impossible to keep your game toxic free. dawngate did this incredibly well, i have had encounters in that game with people who completely restore my faith in the moba player base.

in short the argument moba's spawn/atract toxic players is a load of horse manure.

toxic players dont need to exist in any game, the game can do things to stop toxicity, what smite has done is basicly welcoming it into their player base.

never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.

I wonder how this is going to play out with browsing the store etc.

also I think the console needs to get it's own server because on the pc you are quicker (why browsing the store mostly)

still In consoles the amount of raging-thrash-talking-babies (12 your olds) is a lot higher. still for me more people to troll with friends.

Ofc they get their own server, pc is way more accurate and is would just be ****ing stupid if Hi-Rez would merge the players.

TBH I feel that even though the two groups won't mix (Hirez confirmed that X*****s will have their own servers) it WILL negatively affect us.

Since Micro(transaction)soft like to up their gains you can imagine that DLC aka skin, gods and other things will cost MS points which means that PC gamers won't get our "Free gem" weekends anymore.

Balance will become bland as more and more people ***** that "my god is UP [insert hebo here] is OP ***** ***** *****" so that Hi rez ends up making everyone generic and boring

Holding out hope though as I really like smite and I really hope that it hasn't shot itself in the foot

I think they can do this in other ways like uplay does

I strongly disagree with this ****... ALthough i kinda like that it's gonna come to xbox cuz i have a friend that only play xbox.

But if they remove the free gem weekend, we should start a riot.

I highly doubt the servers will be integrated for one. So expect not to see Xbox players in your Pc game. The only issue this might cause is priorities. A huge influx of new players will probably just mean they listen to more of the baseless opinions. Not to mention if they didn't update them together, which could lead to one, or the other dropping off the face of the Earth. However, the first one is more likely.

Overall I don't think it will be that big of a deal as far as the game itself. Until we get 12 year olds who want to 360 Neith ult across the map. :P

I like making bad kids cry on the game, raging over (RARELY: their microphones) again and again...

Plus, if Xbox players happen to connect to PC players, i will expect a ****ty matchmaking most to other gamemodes. And i will really dislike bad kids on my team because i will no longer do my logic surprise trap attack. Who knows, they might yell at me * Athena WTF ARE YOU DOING? DON'T RUSH THE ENEMY UR SO NOOB*.
