Look we can't ban every decent god out there because that would just leave Vulcan, Arachne, and Bastet. EVERY god is a monster if they get fed.
Also surprised noone has mentioned Agni.

how about every team gets to ban 1 god every game but no more then 1. alla ranked.

Whoa whoa, people should have the chance to play the God that they want to play. If there will be God bans, then the teams, once formed, should make a list of 2 or 3 Gods that each player will play. To clarify, 2-3 Gods per person. No Gods should be banned from that list.

Tourneys are, in part, to show skill. Banning the Gods that we are best at totally ****s that up.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
