Hey bro about that party you were talking about... can I join in case HI REZ decides to do something smart and fix some of this broken gods ? :D

joke aside I totally agree with you Thana is really idiotically made and broken but unfortunately hes not the only one. To counter him you really need to have dodging skills and to have some decent god if you wanana trade with him. As for him i would be happy that he s the only one thats broken but there are few others as well. Now there is Scylla, Ullr, Nemesis, Poseidon, Freya, they now ban Herc often etc.

You need to realize when they took side jungles, when they took CD, defence, heal buffs and when they introduced solo/duo lanes and players developed HOG strategy which is nothing more than just bullying a lane they practically burried SMITE in the ground.

One last thing players became too spoiled and I will dare to say naive and stupid. Why ? Because there is just look for OP gods. He isnt picking what he likes now hes picking OP gods with intention to get an edge no matter of skill. And when that god takes even a slight nerf immidiately that god isnt on picking list anymore because OH GOD hes nerfed he isnt op anymore I cant win with him. RUbbish I tell you that. And in that pace we will have all gods nerfed to a idiotic point in a ruined game where will be more and more players like you in thinking of quiting smite. Thank you for reading this :)

I've never really found Thanatos to be a challenge unless my team really feeds him. In fact, I recently went up against a legendary Thanatos with 1400+ kills as my rank 6 Arachne, and I absolutely annihilated him.
Thanatos isn't hard to defeat, it's all about manipulating minions to take the hit of the Death Scythe, or simply dodge it. He has very little damage after his Death Scythe is gone.
Also, I know everyone hates it, but Greater Meditation is a good counter to his ult. Once he flies up, just heal yourself.

That makes it easier to dodge. Simply because you know when Neith's ult is on the way. So you are going to pop Aegis, which is the same time Than is going to ult on you. So you block both easily and most people are going to waste all their abilities after they land having not realized you used your Aegis. xD

Actually i'm using that and beads but they have an amazing way to ****ing use fedness on my fellow noobs, And thanatos is starting the attack, And after i finally get in the tower, Thanatos's fedness allow him and neith to come in and because i dont have aegis anymore they sucseed to ****ing crush me like i'm an unfed non tanky ao kuang. Amazing, Penetration, You rock.

get on higher lvl and it is a lot easier because feeding them will be less.

SmiteFire & Smite
