in conquest I find it (with escape) easy enough. the moment I'm running and I see the red skull. I ready my escape. the moment I hear the scream I push it and it's dodged.

(was a while till my last thana game so don't remember this so good). while flying he makes a sound (not the scream from crashing down) I don't know anymore if you can hear it while on the ground (otherwise you could predict how for he is)

i use Thanatos in everything except Conquest (idk how to jungle so i've never done it), and i agree that he can be pretty annoying. i'm generally not a fan of ultimates that are brainless easy kills, and Thanatos definitely has one. when it comes to straight up fighting, though, it's like others have said--if you juke his #1, he's likely dead or will have to flee. if you juke his #1 AND #3, there's pretty much no way he's killing you unless he's just fed. Thanatos can fight with auto attacks decently enough with Qin's Sais and Bloodforge, but combo'ing his abilities with his AA's are what really makes him hit like a truck. and since he's super squishy, a good Thanatos will have to pick his fights. especially if it's a teamfight, which he's almost useless in other than using his ult.

Yeah... Thanatos... When I play with him I do like 2-12-10... When is a Thanatos in other team, well, he is like 13-2-11... Well sometimes I have a really good score with him... But in general is bad...

Have any of you played conquest, was pushing the enemy into their tower, then realized wait...
They have a thanatos on their team...

Then you start looking up in the sky :D

Because you know he is lurking in the sky somewhere and if hes not that just makes you even more paranoid.

Thanatos can do nearly nothing if he misses his 1 skill, because he's almost completely reliant on that 1 skill to deal damage. Another thing is that Thanatos loses a percentage of his health every time he uses a skill, so if he misses the 1, not only is his main damage ability gone, but he is now easier to kill.
