Why no Phy lifesteal on skills?

Mages has life steal when they use basic as well as skills. But for phy gods they don't have any on skills.

Just wondering why.

I guess its just another thing that separates magical gods from physical ones. You wouldn't want both kinds of gods to play exactly the same, do you?

Well.... why not remove the lifesteal from basic for mages then? It's not like they benefit from that. They cant do crits. So they have very little sustain if they just rely on their basic.

It might just be one of those little things HiRez "might" remove when they have the time.

No, physical guys have lifesteal because of their insane crit damage; mages have lifesteal due to their insane area damage.

No I mean. Lifesteal affects mage's basic attacks(Or should I say auto attacks to make it understandable lol). And I find that useless for that class. I'm fine with the skills.

So ya. That's one of the useless things HiRez "Might" remove in the future.

Er, I don't know, that would completely destroy Freya's passive. Actually, it sounds like a good Nerf to Polynomicon.

No, freya damage would count as ability damage. Remember? like Gem of Isolation.

Well. You can say her passive to be like, she's the only mage with AA life steal.

Ah. I wish that HiRez could stop that. I mean, if Pulse counts as an ability, then it shouldn't count as a basic attack as the same time. I'm tired of stuff like that.

Eh...I'm rather fond of lifesteal on Nu Wa, I wouldn't want to completely remove lifesteal from autoattack mages. Why not just accept it as a quirk of MOBAs?

SmiteFire & Smite
