The title says it all. I played about a 50 minute conquest with him and he's just straight up terrible. Medium Crowd Control? BS. High Area damage? Okay, but it's useless! His ultimate makes him unable to use other abilities, so escaping while ulti is merely a dream. Finally, His demon bag, even when filled up, is just useless! If anyone disagrees, tell why, because I simply believe he should just be removed from the game.

I agree with you for the most part. Too many people complained about his pubstomp nature, but it was risk-reward balanced.

His full demon bag protections aren't bad, they're actually very very good for a mage. But his ult being nerfed to not cast any spells (remember when it used to heal his allies too?) is horrible. He now is a mage that does nearly no damage, that needs to be in near melee ranged, and has minimal CC. He's unviable now.

I agree with you too,except demon bag.I usually played Zhong Kui in solo lane(yeah,not mid :D) and for the most time I was agains phys. god and ganked by physical gods too,so for early/mid game his protections are pretty good.But now when I can't stun,or deal big damage with 1+2 combo while using ult,i don't choose zhong anymore.Now he is really useless for me

I played him a lot recently and he is nearly garbage. In Arena I managed to be killleader some times thou. Sprint+Ult+Polynomicon ftw, but still. Without a good team, no chance

He is not a bursty god so as you said he needs other burst damage on his team, but he is far from garbage IMO :P

If played in mid/solo properly you just can't die (unless you get into a 1v3+ fight/gank), and his CC is insane when it comes to setting up ganks (lacks a bit when up against a rank 3 sprint or winged blade though).

Lets face it being able to use abilities while dealing a lot of AOE damage (not like Kali who deals close to no damage with her ult) plus being CC immune and having tons of protections was a bit much.

He is far from top tier atm though, which is a bit sad :P

Well I guess only Ra and Hel can beat him in midsustain.

I like the combo 1->3->2->Sprint->Ult->Polynomicon. Hell of burst!
And midgame, his burst is quite nice ;p

But his ult is just UP.. Nerfed to death nearly.

His passive is quite nice thou ;p

Eh...his ultimate was unbalanced; it made him nearly invincible while dealing ridiculous damage, on top of getting healed by Exorcism. I agree that it needed a nerf, but it needs to let him cast again. Not for balance's sake or anything, but because it isn't fun. No one likes gimping themselves, and his ultimate feels like doing just that.

It just feels like a lazy fix that ended up hurting more than harming.

With the book of your, it doubles it, yes.
if you buy telkhine ring, you book also get 40 dmg extra.
