aside from the usual fetish reasons... she does show kind of tomboyish behavior and... yeah thats the only reason i could come up with and it isn't a very good reason.

though it would be cool if she was bisexual (she has dated a man, if she likes woman she would be bi) is when they would just put it in there that she is and not do anything with it. i mean, its a sexual prefference which doesnt need to be a characters main characteristic...

If nick makes Korra Bi or Lesbian it would be their first gay animated character.

Nick put the show up for on-line streaming instead of keeping on the air because they know more adults watch the show.


The signs of nick making Korra a Lesbian are all there.

They remove it from the air so they don't offend parents by having a gay character.
They made the show more mature over the last few seasons, it's not as kid friendly as Avatar Last AirBender
They made Korra act more like a tomboy
They made Korra have major relationship problems with Mako and Bolin
And there were a few other reasons that I can't seem to remember right now

But here are my two cents on the whole deal I feel that if Nick/the creators of The Legend of Korra made her a Lesbian it really wouldn't add anything to her character. I could see them doing it so the show would be more with the time's, but it really isn't character building in my opinion. Sure the show could handle some social stigmas about coming out, but that's not what I want to watch, I want to see Korra fight the Earth Empire, not manage her sex life

Sure it would be Nicks first gay animated character but if that's the only reason to make her gay I don't really see that as a positive thing, just look at the whole Dumbledoor being Gay theory

Now if they made her Gay I would still finish the show but it's not an issue that I think the Legend of Korra should be handling, When they already have their plate full with other topics.

Also they would only be doing it because they can. Think about it they would get some publicity for the show and to make the fans happy with fan service.

I may have just started a war but who cares that's my opinion on the whole deal.

That's too bad because...these episodes keep getting better and better! The Varrik and Zhu Li development was phenomenal, and things are getting super tense. I feel like Zhu Li is actually serious about leaving Varrik right now, but I believe and hope that they will make amends later in the season and Varrik will change from Chaotic Neutral to Chaotic good.

THESE EPISODES ARE TOO DAMN SHORT!

Ninja technacly their first gay character would be ren or stimpy... But ren is pure evil and i dont think stimpy is an actual person but something ren came up with. Either way.

Nick will let suicide jokes, gore and psycopathic behaviour slide but i don't think they will let a character being gay slide beecause they are idiots and hypocrits like that.

This episode was great. Some intense moments and plenty of humorous moments as well. Definitely leading up to something big that I'm really looking forward to seeing. Sadly, will have to wait another week...

I think the Asami story was very fitting, it was good to see the character get a fresh start with her father, while at the same time it was only a small portion of the episode. So I don't have any complaints about it taking up screen time, now if it was the entire episode then yeah but just a few minutes I think they handled it very well.


But I hate having to wait a week to see what happens.
