I was so disappointed I finally wanted Korra to kick some *** which hasn't really even happened yet excluding the Raava Vaatu thing.

I would like to take this opportunity to recognize three heroes from this episode:

Bataar and Huan:


Both firmly stood their ground and refused to bow down to Kuvira, despite knowing the consequences. The way Bataar expressed disappointment in his son was just damn. I was also half expecting Huan to surrender or something, but he firmly stood his ground as well, so have to give him respect for that.

Varrick:

Good ol' Varrick. Was willing to sacrifice his life to destroy all the spirit vines and probably research that went into the making of a doomsday weapon based off of it.

Also:

God, I laughed so hard at that reaction in the show, but I had no idea people would be making so many memes based off of it. I love it, haha.

I actually was going to make my avatar Bataar Jr. (it's just Bataar now)'s face from that episode, but I couldn't find on in high enough resolution. :|

Huan awesome, and yeah Bataar Sr. explicitly stating his disappointment was one of my favorite parts of this episode. Besides Varrik of course! God, I love Varrik. I think and hope he and Hiroshi Sato will join together to combat the spirit bombs that Kuvira will have developed. Looks like they need new vines, though. I wonder where they'll get them...Republic City, perhaps?

"Begin dismantling the domes" was said in a very sinister manner, and the fact that it was the final note of the episode says it's gon' be a big deal. Can't wait to see how it unfolds.

Aaaaand, I have officially stolen that avatar. It's just too great, haha.


Also, I found this on /r/thelastairbender and thought I'd share. Though looking at the argument of separating Zaofu from the mainland critically, I just don't think that'd work anymore with the airship technology and whatnot.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
