What did you buy a needlessly large rod for?
Oh god do I miss low level pvp in LoL...

Anyway, let me give you some guidelines, Icen.
Top lanes are either bruisers or tanks. You always build tank items, just some build a little damage, or some go full tank.
Mids build full AP, almost no exceptions, unless you're playing a counter-mid, like Zed or Talon. Most counter-mids are assassins, so build them as such.
ADC's build full auto attack damage. No exceptions. You want a lot of attack speed, damage, and crit.
Supports build mostly Sightstone and aura items to help the team. Later on they may build something in the damage or tank area, but with their gold pool they usually can't afford it. Also, early philo is recommended.
Junglers build either a Spirit item (from spirit stone) or Madred's Razors. Then, build as if you were in lane - either tank or damage.

That is to say, your needlessly large rod is heavily out of place on shen. Build FULL tank. He even gets bonus damage based on health.

Well right now I'm playing with Aatrox

I'm calling Aatrox the noob killer because any noob that faces him will die :)

I like how he is classified as a fighter/tank

but yet he dies so damn fast its not even funny, I actually herd people say his stats are pretty low for a fighter/tank and it must be because someone bursty makes him die really fast compared to other fighters/tanks I played.

I assume that he is only labeled that because of his sustain though.

I like Aatrox, apparently from what I read the noobs thinks hes OP and the higher elo people think hes complete garbage :D

At least every forum I read on him being op multiple people say he sucks compared to others.

I think hes kind of rewarding to play and kind of hard if your facing good people.

#1 he seems to die very fast, luckily he has that damn passive to bring him back to life
#2 He is kind of hard to play, in order to keep your bloodwell bar up to bring you back to life you have to keep lowering your own hp but then you have to heal it back up so you don't die.
#3 He has a knockup/jump and its pretty fun to use
#4 I started using him

I am playing with Draven also since the champ rotation is on him.
It sucks playing Draven on high ping thats all I have to say

Aatrox was played / banned pretty often in the Season 3 World's Tournament (basically, final big shebang tournament for Season 3 of LoL). High elo people don't think he's garbage, or if they do they're wrong. :P

Try Blade of the Ruined King on him if you're not already.

He will die fast when he is focused down, but 1v1 and 1v2 situations he will be quite hard to kill with items because he has so much lifesteal. I remember I was 1v1ing one at level 2 or 3 after popping his passive and he went from like 100 health back to 50% and killed me when I was at high health. Also, if you make their whole team focus you then your other carries should be able to get a lot done. He is considered a "threat" champion where if you don't take care of him you pretty much die, so you are forced to focus him.

Good luck with Draven, I suck with him. :P

For the record, Pubstomp Aatrox is a noob killer, but most people who actually have a clue what they're doing, and want to be useful to the team outside of roaming and hoping they find someone, will build BotRK, Spirit Visage, and then usually something like Rabadon's. He's a very strong tank because his sustain plus tankiness (when built that way) Makes him practically immune to death, compounded with his passive.

As Mowen said, aatrox was almost a guaranteed ban or pick, for either top lane OR jungle (since his doran's blade start in jungle was so strong). No one in top tier elo find him garbage, he just needs to fit a very specific niche.

As for Draven, mastering spinning axe catches will either win you the game or make you useless, almost no exaggeration involved. It either gives you a 45% (?) damage steroid, or makes you bring nothing to the table.

You play SMITE and have low ping in LoL? Are you in the right region?

And I have never seen a tanky Aatrox, but Ive never been in high elo ;)
Most play him more assassin or melee ADC. AKA Pubstomp Aatrox (lol) He ends up very feast or famine-y, he either does well and destroys or does badly and... what Aatrox? But again this isn't high level play just standard normals.

If you want someone who can Roflstomp games at slightly higher levels go Fiora. Plus she is getting her Headmistress skin back this october :)

Well my ping in Lol is around 100-150 most the time but sometimes I see it jump up to the 300's.

And when I was playing with Razemage the one day I was watching the ping to see how high it would jump and I seen it actually hit 600 for some reason.

Most of the time its in the 100-150 range but sometimes it wants to jump in the 250 range for whatever reason then spikes up to 300 then drops back down to normal ping.

does every match have a different ping or something?
Like does different matches have different servers they connect you to?

People must mistake Aatrox as a garabge champ or something because everyone trys to 1v1 me then run away once they are almost dead. I don't know if most of them even realize that aatrox comes back to life because of his passive.

Either way I have literally been on super low hp and killed champs because of his heal being so good when hes on low hp. The best part about nooblets is that they keep fighting you just because your on low hp they think that gives them an advantage.

Until they notice aatrox isn't dying then they want to run :D
There is no feeling better than seeing yourself revive back to life :D
