The bartender sighed and poured his latest customer a pint. "Well, mate," he said tiredly, "as far as I know, the big brute started beating some friends of mine. I didn't want to get hurt, so I gave him one on the house. The wizard was fine, until he started blowing things away - breaking half my finest china, I say. Then the brute and the knife nut started fighting, and then my tavern was on fire. Now the brute is probably going to break the juggler's face for him, the wizard's going to go off scot free, and I've lost the tavern which my family's kept for seven generations-" He broke off, sobbing. "I don't know what to do!"

The man nodded at the bartender's summary.

"A brute you say? That either deserves respect or disdain. I have no time for petty mercs, but a refined swordsman I can respect. Thieves are wand-wavers, though, I don't have time for."

Raventhor lays his Zweihänder against the bar.

"You seem like a nice enough man. If you have any problems let me know," the man says before downing the pint in one sitting, "no scoundrels should bring ruin to a family trade."

He turns around on the stool, scouting the destruction, and strides to the confrontation.

"Hey, 'Brute', explain yourself. And while you're at it, as a man of combat myself, what's your discipline?"

He ignores the thug and he-witch completely as he awaits an answer.

OOC: hope I'm doing this right. Trying to play into the story rather suddenly.
As an out-of-context summary, I've always been a warrior (Barbarian in D3, Warrior in WoW, Garen as my first main in LoL, and a Duelist in Neverwinter Nights), so I'm particuarly interested in the warrior, and what particular type of brute he is.

The juggler struggled sluggishly in the brute's grip. Dimly, as if through a tunnel, he heard the man's words. Die right now and suffer for what your kind did to me, or help me find the editors who made your kind run for their lives.

He clenched a fist. Your kind. The arrogance of those so-called Superiors galled him.

As far as he knew, all4 could not be hurt by him. His knives were hanging uselessly under his coat, and it wasn't like he could punch all4 to death.

He moved his left hand to clench a small bracelet on his right wrist. He twisted it, until the bracelet snapped. For years, that bracelet was the only thing keeping him free, blocking the magic that would have alerted the city constables to his location. Now it was gone.

Response time was three minutes, minus two since some would've noticed the fire and already alerted the constabulary. So he had to stall for sixty seconds.

"As for you..." That voice was the wizard. Another Superior.

He turned to face the wizard, and rasped, "I will kill you and your entire family."

Suddenly, the juggler was uncomfortably aware of a small star on the tip of the wizard's finger. It radiated intense heat and glowed bright, and despite himself, the juggler was impressed. Such spells took focus.

"Care to repeat that?" said the wizard.

The juggler was certain that the right side of his face was slowly burning from the heat, but he choked out a laugh. "You heard me." He then moved his gaze to All4. "I've sent assassins after them. Ironic, considering that coin you gave me, but-"

Before the juggler could say another word, he was flying. The juggler crashed through a wooden partition, which hurt. He didn't crash through the tavern wall, which hurt even more.

The juggler briefly blacked out for a few seconds, and when he came to, All4 was lifting him by the neck, and his feet were a good foot or so off the ground.

The juggler couldn't smile with a broken jaw, but he tried anyway. Three...two...one...

Suddenly, the door of the tavern, or what remained of it, was kicked off its hinges. An armored guard with the symbol of the city watch strode in, torch in one hand, broadsword in the other. He immediately noticed the three fighters, and called, "Drop him. You're all under arrest, by the authority of the the Council of Seven. Drop your weapons."

All4 dropped the juggler, who fell to the ground in a heap. "The other one's a wizard," the juggler wheezed.

The guard turned to outside the tavern. "Looks like you were right to come, ma'am."

Then a middle-aged woman wearing the white-and-blue robes of the council walked in.

Selyna Solomon was impossible not to notice. Even if she wasn't one of the Council of Seven, she was the public head of the lawmages, and one of the strongest wizards in the city. Even though the juggler didn't have a drop of magic in his blood, the sheer power she radiated made his skin crawl.

She snapped her fingers, and All4 and Sir's hands were locked behind their backs.

Wood rematerialized, shattered glass and brick began to reform into widows and walls, and the tavern began to slowly reform. She glanced at the fallen juggler, and then his hand were shackled as well.

Solomon turned her gaze to look at him in the eye, and said, "You won't be escaping again, convict."

OOC: Basically, the juggler is completely normal, as in he's not in any way stronger, faster, or tougher than a normal human being. His plan was to let the city arrest all of them, and hopefully the blood on All4's hands would send him to prison for a very long time. He'd prefer to go back to prison as long as All4 would be suffering with him. He hates the man quite a bit.

As for the whole "Superior" thing, that was a term for any citizen who had extraordinary abilities. Wizards, Sorcerers, Witches, registered Vampires and other guys like that. The "normals" have quite a grudge against them, since they get shafted in a lot of things. Why hires a normal guy when you could hire a wizard who could do the same job with a snap of his fingers? Why pay cash to a normal guy when you could give cheap pig's blood to a vampire? Don't elect the human, elect the witch with three centuries of experience. Stuff like that. The juggler's grudge with All4 goes quite a bit deeper than that, however.

I wasn't sure about the OC, but I hope she's well-received.

@Raventhor: This was typed up earlier, but then I saw your post, and I wasn't sure how to fit you in on all of this. Sorry. Also, there's a summary of everything that's happened on page 6.

Ooc:um sub i don't know why you think my guy wears heavy armor but to clairify he is a rogue which doesn't allow him to wear more then light armor and that is what he wears.

But yeah he has had a bit of godmode and il cut down on it, sorry.

I know that your guy doesn't have infinite knives but when i said "machine gun" i ment it as a metafor for trows as many knifes as he can in rapid sucsesion (i butchered multiple words, i know) .

I will edit the i take the knife out of thin air part to be less godmode.

Ooc: sub you are taking a lot of "controlle" over the comic like bringing in random charactar's i don't mind it to much but please don't imply other people's characters to be "immume" to normal weapons or drowning. You already proved i could be hurt
By your knifes earlier in the comic as well as fire, my guy can drown, he can be killed, he can be hurt. It's just not easy.

I will explain in a later part of the comic why my guy is so fast and stuff when we are not fighting 24/7 and when im not in chains.

"Pleasure to meet you Selyna, someone I know would like a word with you."
A serpent slipped from Sirs cloak, it wasn't a recognizable species, but it was fairly large. It was not quite the size of an anaconda, but it never seemed to end. Selyna looked down at it... and couldn't look away from its hypnotic gaze. Any protections or wards around her dissolved, and the spells binding Sir, All4 and the juggler faded away. The serpent slowly rose to look her levelly in the eye.
Suddenly the guard came forward and swing his halberd at the serpent, which ducked to avoid it.She... knew nothing of it. As I feared, we must find the Editors. She slipped back into Sirs cloak, she was so long she had never fully left it.
Sir looked to the Guard, "You'll pay for that." Sir was glad she had fixed the tavern, it was a fairly complex bit of spellcraft that would have been exhausting after all this ruckus. For now it was nothing, but the night was young. "Go get the rest." Selyna commanded, she seemed shaken by the event, as she should have been. Nonetheless she was prepared to perform her duties. The guard ran, no doubt getting the rest of the city policemen, and certainly the Royal Guards. If they knew nothing Sir knew he would have no choice but to seek out the Editors.
"Best of luck to your assassins juggler. If they are going after my family, they will need it. I'm not even the best sorcerer in the family." They had gone into hiding soon after Sir had left, anyone would stand out where they were. He threw a marble at the juggler, and the man shrieked as his jaw popped back into place, and several of his minor wounds were healed.

OOC: You cannot kill the mighty warrior. I've been in wars that began and ended before you were a whelping. Scurry back to your books while the real soldiers do the work.

Actually that might not be OOC, but that was my in character response to an out of character comment. :P

Quetzalcoatl's charlemeonlike eyes gleamed atop of a cliff from the distance. His cloak covered his tiny reptile teeth and the enormous chameleon eyes as his hand slightly adjusted his cloak.

It's been far too long He sat away in a distance watching everything in the land below him. The enormous feathered tail of the serpent whipped itself back and forth behind him as he laughed, the wind carried his laughter as the serpent stood up.

"The time has come once again...." Quetzalcoatl slowly bent down to fold the cloth he sat on as he covered his face with his hood.

The serpent set down his cloth below a tree atop of the cliff. "Until I come back...." His eyes peered down the cliff towards the eye of the action as he glided down,"It is time for me to walk the Earth once again..."

OOC: Why not. I am Quetzalcoatl.

OOC: Okay, but I'll be making a few changes anyway. Can you wait a bit, since I PM'd Sir about his post, and you might want to see the revised version (of mine or his) before making some changes.
