I don't know if I should look for this game. I didn't get invited for some reason, it's said that they only invited US players. THAT'S RACIST.

Jokes aside, is the game any good? They say it'll be the new WoW.

I kinda wanted to play this game back when I thought that it was an Arena based Moba mix kinda.
It comes with alot of humor and definitly a great art and playstyle, yet I'm not sure if this is the right game to be an mmorpg. What really makes me not want to play it is the subscription fee - I really hate that kind of business model and think that every mmorpg should be either free (Pay2Win kinda) or should have a box price. Just my opinion tho.

The comedic direction is definitely a huge pull for me, but I do wish every MMORPG would just switch to the "buy the game, we'll sustain ourselves with cosmetic microtransactions" business model. There are plenty of suckers, myself included, to fuel the game that way. That said, I think their business model sounds good on paper. It lets someone like myself enjoy the game when I have the time and while also letting twelve year olds with endless hours of free time but no cash inflow to enjoy it as well. But we'll see whether it floats or not in a few months.

Yea, that's the thing. It sounds good on paper, but I don't think that it will actually be that effective and even if it is going to be a " ingame gold for 30 days more playtime " sorta thing I'm still thinkin' : Don't we want to use the gold we farmed that month to progress in the game? Because I certainly do not feel like playing an mmo for a month without making progress in Gear or whatever they have to offer, just so I can play it for another month.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
