Notes the relic of choice really is your own, I prefer Purification Beads into matchups where I am going to be aggressive and Aegis Amulet where I think I am going to be ganked or out pressured Heavenly Wings is a comfort pick that I chose for chases or matchups where the enemy team has several slows

Introduction

Welcome to my guide for Rama, Seventh Avatar of Vishnu!

I am a Competitive player who primarily plays conquest.
Rama As of Patch 8.1 Rama is poised to be the strongest ADC in the game for those who can properly manage his resources and compete against the early game giants

Without any further let us get into my first guide for Smite Fire on Rama!

Items

Starting off for the crux of this build is [gilded arrow] with its introduction it provides one of the most potent way to get ahead along with [spiked gauntlet] this provides all of the sustain needed to succeed in the early game

After Getting Gilded Arrow and Spiked Gauntlet you have a couple of options, personally I prefer to back at 1550 gold and pick up Ninja Tabi before getting Devourer's Gauntlet since with the Ninja Tabi you win most early game trades, in any case if you find yourself in a position where you need to back early, or get ganked and die you should build boots before life steal, you will need the additional movement speed to potentially survive, chase kills.

After you have bought Devourer's Gauntlet and Ninja Tabi you should next work on getting either your Qin's Sais or The Executioner in a matchup where you have to play against high HP warriors or guardians I recommend getting Qin's Sais but truly I feel that with the recent changes to The Executioner you need to pick this up, 28% protections shred combined with Dominance means there will be no target that can resist your basic attacks.

Next up you need to buy Odysseus' Bow and then Silverbranch Bow these are no question for an attack speed build of this calibre,

at this point in the game if you are level 20 feel free to upgrade your starter item into Ornate Arrow or if you are dying buy Berserker's Shield as a replacement to your boots or instead of Odysseus' Bow you need silverbranch and cannot afford to replace it

Skills

When upgrading your abilities I emphasize in the builder leveling up in this order
Astral Strike Rolling Assault Infinite Arrows Astral Strike Astral Barrage

I say this because you need to get your Rolling Assault at level 2 so that you may escape any ganks or chase any kills after this 1 level in this skill is good enough until you cannot level up your Infinite Arrows or Astral Strike anymore

Put points into your Astral Barrage whenever you can its good to get good with this ability for long range chasedown kill or objective snipes.

level up Astral Strike all the way first since this is your clear and your damage you one and only love, leveling up infintie arrows doesn't matter when you build this much attack speed, really the true purpose if leveling this is for the damage steroid when used in tandem with silverbranch bow

Rolling Assault is not good for damage only level it up when you have nothing else to level up besides picking it up at level 2

Pros / Cons

Pros:
  • Amazing Wave Clear
  • Amazing steroid in Infinite Arrows
  • Good mobility and escapes
  • Can mitigate high damage ults with Astral Barrage
  • Best objective shred in the game
Cons:
  • Very squishy
  • one and done movement option
  • easy to counter with pressure picks like Cupid and Apollo
  • defensive ulting leaves you vulnerable
  • Vulnerable to slows without

Conclusion

Every Carry main should get good at Rama this god has potential that is unrivaled by most of the other hunters in the game

Get rid of sprint and replace it with shell. Also I think Silverbranch and Obow should be Dominance and Qin’s.

Shell is a fantastic alternative for sprint and it is something I always neglect, additionally this build is based around silverbranch power and through my testing this build averages roughly 5% more damage if you opt out of berserkers shield

let me know what you think or what I should change about my formatting like i said i am new at smite fire but have been playing for quite awhile

I think you have a pretty good understanding of the god and the items and the counter picks. I wouldn’t change anything in particular about the build itself expect maybe explain the berserkers, though being change to better match what adc’s want from the item, it shouldn’t be bought in every build but in some builds more as an item to help you win boxing trades or keep you from dying too quickly from jungle ganks. I would’ve also liked to see more information on why you built the items you built so newer players have an idea as to why the items are good. Though you did mention you’re new so I won’t put too much thought into that, but I would like to see some more detail in your future guides. Nice job though.

7/10 For the solid build and the knowledge on the counter matchups and what to look out for. I would show this to amateur players or players new to Rama but not new players in general for the lack of detail explaining the build. Overall the guide is good and I look forward to seeing your other ones in the future.

Hello thank you for taking the time, in hindsight I poorly explained how Berserker's Shield could fit into the build, ideally it is a 3rd or 4th item pick since it should ideally be used to fit into a counter. commentary on playstyles however is another matter altogether since it is a situational item and the builds where I did not include it are not properly posted in this guided, working to fix that
